The breakfast was good and Donatello was a kind and generous host. He offered us as many coffee beverages as we wanted and did not charge us for the beverages we enjoyed from the mini-bar. He was very helpful in getting us to the parking garage and into the apartment when we arrived. The garage (a separate business, but contracted through Donatello and directly across the street from the lodging) provided easy access to use our vehicle to travel to places we wanted to visit while based in Bari.

The location of the building was a little rough, in a busy area of the city, but located relatively close to most places our family wanted to walk to (most things were a 20 to 30 minute walk away).

I had the pleasure of staying at Dimora Fantasia Charme B&B in Bari for four days, three nights, and it was truly an amazing experience. This charming B&B is perfectly situated in town, with easy access to the central station, public transport, and the enchanting old town. The interior of the B&B is tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The level of comfort and attention to detail in the accommodations is outstanding, ensuring you have everything you need for a delightful stay. However, what truly sets Dimora Fantasia Charme B&B apart is the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Donatello. He is a wonderful host, and makes sure that guests have the best possible experience. Donatello's commitment to providing excellent service left a lasting impression on me. Overall, my stay at Dimora Fantasia Charme B&B was a delightful experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Bari. It's the perfect combination of a fantastic location, tasteful decor, and a gracious host, making it a top choice for your stay in this beautiful city.

We stayed here for 4 nights in February and had an absolutely fantastic time, except for the pouring rain on our first day. Would very much recommend the Dimora Fantasia charme B&B- great location approximately 8-10 minutes walking distance from the train station, the host Donatello was fantastic- he was available and helped us with tips and organised our one day trip to Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano a mare. There are also 2 great restaurants 100 metres away- Pizza in Forno and Blue eyes, where we ate delicious pizza and pasta respectively. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Pleasant & quiet setting in an area that is about 15-25 mins walk to the old town (Bari Vecchia). The accommodation is modern, clean and well run. Donatello is an excellent and super friendly host. The bed was very comfortable. Room is air conditioned and you are in 1of 5 units. Out unit was on the ground floor so no steps etc needed to be climbed. Room was not huge but was spacious with hanging space for clothes and room for two small suitcases. Bathroom was spacious with a small shower cubicle. Wifi is relatively good. We were served simple continental breakfast (croissants, freshly baked cakes, break, yogurt, boiled eggs etc). Donatello bakes the croissants and cakes every morning and they were delicious. No cooked food options offered or requested by us. Fresh coffee from machine served (cappuccino, espresso etc) as needed with top ups offered.

We were happy with the accommodation itself but not a big fan of the area. We felt that the area north of the station/train line is nicer than south of the station where this property is located. That said, it is quieter on this end. Bari generally is less clean compared to other Italian cities we have been to.

The property was very easy to access in a walking distance to the center of Bari. As were told by the owner parked our car in a closed garage across the street. The room and the premises were very clean and very well kept. The bed was quite comfy, had a lot closet space. The communication with the owner Donatello was perfect, he was always eager to help and please. The breakfast was sufficient and very tasty. We’ll definitely come again to stay in Dimora Fantasia in the future 😊

The host was kind and helpful and had our room ready early in the afternoon when we arrived. He was a strong communicator, readily available through WhatsApp and very responsive and enthusiastic. Our room was bigger than usual, making it easy to move around in. The breakfast was very good.

Our room was on street level and faced the street, though access to the room was from inside the B&B. The room was accessed through the B&B office, interior to the building, but the office was not utilized when we were in our room, so it didn't interfere with our privacy, but felt a little odd at first. Because of the street presence, presumably to provide privacy, the windows were set too high to be able to see out, and didn't let in much light. The room had a feature, where doors opened from the room to a small outdoor alcove blocked off from the street by a railing, and containing a small table and chairs. We were only there overnight and did not use it, so cannot evaluate it.

The host is extremely welcoming, responsive, and helpful, and the location is perfect, very central. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows and a great shower. The small details that make a difference in the room: a coffee machine, a tea pot, a good hairdryer. Breakfast is very nice, with a daily assortment of fruit, cake, jams, and salty or sweet croissants.

The wall and ceiling sound isolation is not very good. As I am a light sleeper, this was an issue to me. The heating can be improved. But overall, it's a wonderful place to stay!

What a delightful stay made special by the caring and excellent treatment by Donatello the owner. He was so helpful in answering questions, providing directions and assistance. We used his driver Anthony for two separate day trips 1) Alberobello and Polignano a Mare 2) Ostuni and Lecce. Anthony was joyful and went out of his way to make these two-day trips special. The freshly baked cakes by Donatello and his wife for breakfast were delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable with good security.

Donatello was very friendly helpful. He helped to arrange the taxi to the airport at 5:00am. We booked a day trip tour which started at 8:30am. Marianne came early to make us coffee and served some pastries. When we returned, we were surprised to find our room neat and tidy with beds made. We loved the service.

The pavement of the street leading to the apartment had seen its days. Must watch one's steps carefully.

Property was situated a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Extremely clean, well kept, accessible and pleasant. Rooms were extremely clean, complimentary toiletries, water and a mini bar if required. Breakfast was spot on, ham+cheese croissants, toast, meats, cakes, juices, cereal etc. Donatello the host could not do enough and was hand for everything from questions via WhatsApp prior to arrival, tourist help and ensuring everything was where we needed it. We were leaving earlier than breakfast for the airport and was expecting to miss it. Donatello very kinda moved breakfast forward 30 minutes so we were able to eat.
