Location, location, location. Brilliant place to enjoy walking Able Tasman as a series of day trips. The small cabin was an affordable option for a solo traveller. The facilities they do have were all good quality. There was no issue with noise.

The lack of kitchen equipment. The place is set up more for kiwis who arrive by car or van. It would be nice if a small catering pack with the basics were available to hire. I was aware before leaving the uk and I improvised with camping gear but not ideal to have to bring it.

The location, right across the beach, pub restaurant and shop. Beautiful view of the beach. Wish the cabin is facing the beach instead of the campers. Facilities are good, laundry, kitchen inside & bathroom are clean & large enough

Wish there are sofa to sit & lounge. Wifi are terrible, we didn’t get the correct password until the next day. The manager curtly told us to check the info folder. But it wasn’t there. Anyway wifi was not a good quality.

Super friendly & happy staff. Great room. We had a cabin with shared facilities. The cabin was extremely clean, bed good (firm). Quality sheets & towels. Cabins are not connecting, which was excellent as no noise & they must be well soundproofed as very little noise overnight & morning. Good shower & toilet facilities very close by. Would absolutely stay here again.

There was nothing that we disliked.

You can't beat the location right across the road from the beautiful Kaiteriteri beach. ensuite cabin was very comfortable and spacious, bed comfy and shower good and all spotlessly clean. Small kitchenette was adequate for our needs. Great camp facilities...... the ladies on the reception were super friendly and helpful

wifi wasn't great, couldn't connect to Netflix on the tv, extractor fan didn't really do anything in the bathroom, but did have dry function on the air con. fuse kept on blowing so couldn't use the toaster. would be great to have kids room with table tennis etc.

The bed was comfy, the kitchen was clean, and the location was nice - really close to the waterfront.

The kitchen wasn't equipped. I'm used to hostels where if they say there's a kitchen, it means there are pots, pans, plates, and cutlery! Here you have to pay a big $50 deposit (refundable) plus an extra $5 per day for your kitchen box. If somewhere advertises a kitchen, then the basics should be included into the price. The deposit is okay, but I think the charge is cheeky.

I loved the bunkbeds and cozy feel of the cabin. There was enough space at the in-room table for a game of cards or a shared meal. The bathrooms were clean, and the property was only steps away from the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The wifi was limited and some ants found our cookies, so definitely store any sweet food in your car or in the refrigerator provided. There was a small but reasonable fee for kitchen tools.

Excellent location in a campground setting. Walkable to the beach and coffee. Shared bathrooms were great and I didn't have to wait for the showers. Also had a shared kitchen for prep and refrigerated storage. Room was perfect for 1 person. I would definitely stay again.

The bar across the way was a bit loud one night.

Loved the location, the shop had the best coffee in town, friendly helpful staff and staying in the off season ment it was really quiet.

Bathroom fan was abit useless, after showers every night the bathroom walls and ceiling were dripping with condensation despite having the window open, could see areas where the moisture was causing damage.

Close walking proximity to beach and walks. Nice and clean facilities
