Incredible location - literally on the beach! Stunning sea views from our room (Millendreath) and the restaurant. Staff were all lovely, very welcoming and chatty.
The coffee!! Only coffee “bags” in the room as well as at breakfast!

Excellent staff, especially the young lad with the curly mullet ( sorry, forgot his name) but all staff was great. So comfy. View was amazing, was able to star gaze out the window at night, hearing the waves crashing below. Lots of dogs around. The food in the evening was top notch, my wife had pork belly one night and said, it was so nice and tender. The breakfast was on another level. Highly recomend this place.
Could do with a few more hangars in our room. Need an option of other bread, not just sourdough. These are tiny things. 😀

A great place to stay in the quiet village setting of Donwderry, right on the coastline. The views from the rooms out over the bay are amazing and it is wonderful to wake up in the morning to the sound of the sea lapping on the shore. The rooms are well presented with good facilities, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the quality and range of options for breakfast were really good. We had dinner there also on one of the evenings which was very nice. The bar area has a nice atmosphere and is well stocked. There is a large parking area for patrons which can accommodate large vehicles very easily.
On a very minor point, in our room the extractor fan in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a while but otherwise no issues with cleanliness. Overall an excellent stay! Not related to the place per se, but just watch out for which road your sat nav decides to take you to the venue, you can end up down some pretty narrow Cornish lanes!

Excellent location perched on the edge of the cliffs, with sea views and sunsets visible from the terrace and the window seating in the dining room. A particular pleasure was to have breakfast on the terrace on a warm sunny morning. Breakfast was very good, particularly the yoghurt-granola-coulis mix, as were the properly cooked poached eggs on sourdough toast. All staff from the general manager downwards were very friendly and helpful and did their best to make the visit enjoyable. Reserved parking for guests was much appreciated, as the rest of the small car park rapidly filled with non-resident diners and drinkers.
Service at dinner was rather slow, on one evening taking about 40 mins before food arrived. Fish and chips were good, but a grilled salmon and prawn dish less so as both the salmon and prawns had been overcooked to the point of being dry and chewy. My room faced a white wall so no view to speak of, and a noisy extractor fan seemed to run all night just outside - but it was the last available so no choice. I would try for a sea view room next time provided bar noise doesn’t go on until late.

Fantastic location, we had a side coastal view room which was a good size, bed very comfortable and a good size bathroom. Loads of different toiletries for use and a good selection of tea and coffee in the room. Food was very nice in the restaurant, good service from the pleasant staff and the outside terrace overlooking the sea was excellent, a lovely relaxing place for drinks. All the staff were very friendly and genuine. Would definitely recommend, we will definitely stay here again.
Could find nothing not to like about the Inn on the shore.

Love the room it's very spacious, bed is very comfortable. Sitting area downstairs is lovely and cozy yet bright and airy. Good music but stops at 11pm so you can sleep. Staff are all absolutely lovely. Very dog friendly. Lovely setting and nice walks on the beach below. Great outdoor seating area too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
The couple of things I would say is although modern throughout it could do with a paint touch up along the corridors and Woodwork of doors. Also the carpets are a little marked in places. The cushions behind the bed could do with a little clean. The food is generally lovely but breakfast was a tad cold and would have preferred ordinary bread for toast as opposed to sourdough but that's a personal thing. We didn't mention it as all in all it didn't put us off and the staff are so lovely I am sure they would have sorted it, but we didnt want to put them out. We would definitely go back. Would be lovely to have clearer windows too overlooking the sea as the panes are a little worn but you can still see through, so again hasn't put us off.

The inn is in an excellent position right on the Shore with great views along the coast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Evening meals were excellent. Easy parking.
Food service was a bit slow. Breakfast menu was poor. There was the usual full English but no cereal or fruit. Only sourdough for toast and no marmalade. We asked for normal bread but only white sliced was offered. Although the building is well positioned, its in serious need of painting both inside and out. This gave it rather a shabby appearance.

We liked the vegetable breakfast. The room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Cleaning was fine. We stayed 3 nights. The weather was bad but we were lucky to see the sun for just a half day. But the view was amazing. The idea was funny. We couldn't understand how the time passed away. This holiday made us full of positive vibes and I am ready for the new year. Our dog Zeytin was happy too. Everything was stunning and warm. Thanks everyone.
I just wonder about two things the first missing mini refrigerator and the second one is the missing hair dryer in the room. Maybe the winter season was the reason or maybe they forgot to put the hair dryer in the room. But we didn't want the hair dryer from them. No worries. We got good memories from this holiday. Thanks.

The room was clean, comfortable with all the usual amenities. The Inn on the Shore had a wonderful location, right on the water's edge (as the name would suggest) - pity the weather was so bad while we were there! Very tasty evening meal, and good breakfast. Free parking is always appreciated; overall, a very pleasant stay.
The room was compact but for an overnight stay that wasn't a problem. Can't think of anything we didn't like.
