The grounds are beautiful ! The restaurant Fork had excellent food the first night and there was a wedding going on but there was enough distance that we didn’t feel like we were intruding. The bar area was very nice and comfortable place to wait with a glass of wine and a book while my husband was golfing. The concierge was very helpful in arranging a car to Windsor Castle. It was very hot and our room had great AC.the location was perfect as well for both my husband and I to get to our activities. Plenty of parking!

2nd night the food was a little off at Fork, seemed like it was reheated.

The photos didn't do the justice of how picturesque the hotel was, especially fully decorated for Christmas. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the location was great - very quiet area. The fireplace in the shared place added cosiness and homelike feel. Will definitely come back!

The shower could have had a removable head, and walls could have been more soundproof - we were able to hear next-door neighbours. Unfortunately, food at the restaurant Fork wasn't to our liking, so we wouldn't recommend dining there.

Pretty gardens, lovely hotel, friendly staff, comfortable room, good food (when available). Reasonable bar prices. Thoughtful gift box of chocs in room for our anniversary. Very handy for Ascot. Excellent first aider and we were quickly moved to a better room with complimentary Prosecco when my husband burnt his hand when the faulty iron exploded!

Breakfast is £22.50. The restaurant closed before 9pm, no room service. The iron exploded and burnt my husband’s hand quite badly. I left a top behind and they charged to post it back to me.

The room was comfortable, clean and bright

Breakfast was disappointing. Toast was barely cooked and had to be returned. Staff under pressure. We’re sat by the window you had an infestation of ants which we pointed out and were moved. The scrambled eggs were below par and we could see any means of ordering poached eggs? No staff had even the bandwidth to ask anything beyond toast, coffee and tea. We agreed to pay for breakfast but when we return in June we will do without it. In the room you should provide two breakfast teabags for tea when you arrive and for in the morning. We would have needed 4 but only had two.

The breakfast selection was very good, and the food was fresh and of good quality.

The only thing I would say let’s it down would be value for money, when you are paying over £309 for a room for one night having breakfast included within that would make it far more value for money. I wouldn’t expect to pay over £300 for a room for one night and then need to pay an extra £47 for two people to eat breakfast in addition when it’s a buffet breakfast and self service

The bed was very cosy and comfortable, the room was clean with touches of luxury in the products that were made available for free. Food was awesome and room service was exceptional. Staff were quite nice and very helpful too...even with random requests like helping to thread a needle !!

The hotel should consider having an all day breakfast in the menu so that if you wake up late, you can still order room service breakfast.

The hotel stands in lovely grounds, which are worth a walk around. We loved that it had been decorated for Halloween, both in the hotel reception and in the grounds. The hotel itself is very nice and all of the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. It was a buffet, set up in a separate little room and had a very good choice of hot and cold food. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food was very nice, but didn't blow us away.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Poor quality toilet paper! For the price we felt that breakfast should be cooked to order, not ask for a poached egg and 10 minutes later have to ask again, by which time the remaining food was cold!

Beautiful terrace and setting. Our room and bathroom appeared to be freshly refurbished and were in very good condition with everything well organised and big mirrors! Good thick curtains made for a good night's sleep too. Excellent value for money.

Tiny point - I would like a flannel in the bathroom, given the shower head is overhead only.

the proximity to the venue where I was running an event. Position in the hotel in the east wing on the 3rd floor away from the wedding area and the restaurant so very quiet.

reception staff could be more friendly. think occasionally they could express a greeting when you come in or go out.
