Our stay was relaxing. Hotel made provisions for temple visits and other sightseeing. Breakfast spread was good. Buggy/ Shuttle services were very prompt. Location of high tea was mesmerising.

Housekeeping can be improved a bit considering lots of greenery around the rooms which leads to lots of insects entering the room.

The property is beautiful. It offers different landscapes all in the same frame. The facilities are great. I visited this place with my husband to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the staff ensured to make us feel special every step of the way. We even booked a special dinner to mark our anniversary and Suman did not disappoint us! The setup was beautifully done in the garden area with a view of the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other. The menu was curated to our liking and preference. Special shout out to Dheeraj, our host for that evening for ensuring that we felt very special. I would be remiss if I don't mention the lavish breakfast buffet and evening high-tea. We also went to the spa for a couples massage and complimentary Yoga session and enjoyed those experiences as well.

Housekeeping and maintenance issues: There was a leakage in one of the bathroom faucets. We were extremely disturbed one afternoon by the housekeeping staff once and loud hammering noise from next door.

Taj Green Cove felt like a hidden sanctuary tucked between jungle and sea — a perfect retreat after our travels through Kerala. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless: we were greeted with a cool drink, shown around the lush grounds, and led to our peaceful chalet nestled deep within the tropical greenery. The room was beautifully appointed, cool, and quiet, with a balcony looking out over palm trees and the sea beyond. The setting is simply breathtaking. Meandering pathways, a serene lagoon, and the resort’s blend of modern luxury with natural elements made every corner feel like a postcard. Daily high tea by the sea was a highlight — enjoying snacks, chai, and live music while the sun dipped below the horizon and fishing boats lit up the coast. The dining experiences were thoughtful and personalised. Abhishek and his team offered regional breakfast tastings and created a special candlelit anniversary dinner. The food — particularly the Indian dishes — was fresh, vibrant, and full of variety, with a special mention for the seafood and the chef-prepared chicken saag. The pizza-making class with Chef Joel and Chef Manoj, the spa treatments, and the attentive service from Annie and Guest Manager Neela made our stay exceptional. Every detail, from the spa to the activities, was curated with care and a warm human touch — making it a standout destination and a heartfelt memory.

Though our stay at Taj Green Cove was magical, there are areas where a little polish could elevate the experience further. While the chalet was comfortable and well located in the jungle, a few fixtures felt a little dated. The beach, though stunning, isn’t ideal for swimming due to strong tides and rocks — better for scenic walks than sunbathing. Finally, although we did not spend too much time in the room, a better TV with access to streaming services or connectivity to our devices would have elevated our stay when we wanted a quiet night in.

We had a wonderful stay at the Taj Green Cove. The hotel had a great ambience, very clean and the swimming pool was great with the most amazing view. It had various food choices and even if you feel like eating something else, they will be happy to make them for you. We did cycling, boating around the lagoon and kayaking. All the staff were friendly and kind. They were excellent with our kids. They customised all their food to their liking and choices. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. I would definitely go back again. A special thanks to the chefs for their personalised food choices and looking after my father's requirements. To Abhishek who looked after us throughout our stay and his hospitality. To Sonia who made breakfast time for the kids fun. To Vinod who made swimming time enjoyable for the kids. But really they were all simply amazing!

Property was mind blowing

Staff was great first time in my life I have that kind of experience.I would like to say thanks to sir ABHISHEK KUMAR catering assistant what a great guy love him so much he was so kind and humble even my mum miss him so much.we are in Rockholm now but service so poor no one even say hello or ask anything like sir ABHISHEk KUMAR. We waste our 2 days here in rockholm.wish I was still in taj with good staff. Here in rockholm no one even ask us for glass of water.sir ABHISHEK KUMAR miss you so much you are great also your staff so nice we will see you again thanks for everything you done for us

We stayed for 2 nights during our 10 day holiday and quickly decided to spend those 2 days just relaxing on site as it had such a lovely vibe and great facilities. Our favourite hotel of the four we stayed in by an absolute mile. Great selection of food for breakfast, with a buffet and certain items cooked to order. Staff so friendly and helpful, they definitely added to a fantastic experience. Swimming pool was great, warm and never crowded, sun loungers available when not swimming. The absolute best bit was the complementary sunset high tea - watching the sunset over the sea while eating traditional Indian snacks and drinking masala tea (it was the best masala tea we had in Kerala).

The food and drink was quite expensive but we could have easily ventured out to eat elsewhere if we'd wanted.

Staff were the highlight of the stay, they were friendly, warm, welcoming and treated us like family. My 2 boys felt like royalty! Chef Har Bans Singh bent over backwards to cater for us, so much that my wife wanted to ask him to stay with us in london! Restaurant staff: Gopi, Abishek, Tanisha, Kaushik, tended to all our requests, with a smile and never made us feel our requests were too much. The human touch, warmth and excellent service, should make Taj group feel proud of their staffing team. The property was exceptional too, the rooms were quaint and rustic, the pools were great way to cool off, the boating/ snacks/ games at teatime was a highlight too. I would rate this hotel at 5 star, with the staff above, i would rate it as 6 star!! thankyou for all your efforts team, you made it a memorable one!

Perhaps activities in the evening after dinner, eg interactive gavmes/ quizes/ maybe live music set up by the hotel in the lobby etc, any entertainment would have been a nice way to end the evening after dinner would be a good touch.

The location is nothing short of magical—nestled in lush, expansive grounds that are immaculately maintained and bursting with tropical beauty. Every path winds through vibrant gardens, offering moments of peace and natural wonder at every turn. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Every need is anticipated and met with grace and care. Their dedication and hospitality elevate the entire experience.

Whilst the rooms had everything we could have wanted and were very clean, it could do with a refurbish

The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The properties are gorgeous, green, and environmentally conscientious. The food selection is unparalleled. The location is close to the beach yet private and quiet. Only having 59 villas makes it a boutique and personalized experience allowing the staff to focus on five star service. We were treated with excellent service from security, reception, dining, spa, and several managers. Can't say enough about how good the service is here. I wish we had more time to take advantage of all the offerings at Taj Green Cove.

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. By no means did we have a complaint. Some of the aging infrastructure needs maintenance or replacing. Loud air conditioning in the room can startle you when the fans rattles on start up. Flashing green light on the fire /smoke detector in room can light up the entire area when it's dark. A variety of different types of pillows would be a nice touch.
