Simply everything. It must be a Swedish thing but from the moment you step in the hotel you are welcomed by the receptionist with a broad smile that promotes openess and a feeling of belonging. All staff members speak English fluently and are always willing to help you in case you need it. The room we stayed in had a microwave, a kettle, an ironing board and an iron along with a flat screen TV. The bed was unbelievably comfortable as well as the pillows and I could notice that the linen was high-quality. The location of the hotel is just perfect: it is a 3-minute walk from the old town. You have a Malmo bike station next to the hotel in case you want to explore the city by bike (which I totally recommend). The breakfast has all one can ask for and they also allow the guests to take coffee away by providing them a take-away cup.

When my original accommodation felt unsafe, Scandic Malmö City became my saving grace! The hotel exceeded all expectations with immaculately clean rooms and incredibly comfortable beds that provided the perfect night's sleep. The staff deserves special mention for their friendliness and helpfulness, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast spread was excellent, offering plenty of delicious options to start the day right. The hotel's central location made exploring Malmö effortless, and having both a microwave and refrigerator in my room added wonderful convenience for quick meals and storing snacks. I cannot recommend Scandic Malmö City enough! If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience in the heart of Malmö, this is absolutely the place to stay.

Spatious room, with a small kitchenette. The hotel is very close to the center, just a short walk to get you there. Very nice breakfasts, lot of options and clear info about the alergens. Kids received a small mocktail as a surprise. Bar has a kids’ play area with futsal and table tennis.

The whole hotel is a bit dated. Not much to choose from in the bar. It was the first time we had to book a time for breakfast + room cleaning is also available only after the online booking. The staff weren’t very helpful with a parking advice.

Family rooms are of decent size for a hotel, with a large bed and an extensible sofa. There is also a small kitchen area that can be used if needed. Parking in the area is possible both on the streets, or in the hotel garage or the parking garage on the other side of the street (we recommend the street parking if you find a place over night). The area is full of restaurants and shops and it is also not far (15 mins walk) to the main train station. The breakfast is rich, with lots of choice, albeit no variation. You have to book a time slot, but I think it is more for the hotel to organise than anything else, no one is asking about that when going to the breakfast area. City bikes can be obtained from the hotel for getting around and they seem to be free for guests. There is also a nice fitness area. If you need cleaning during the stay, it has to be booked the day before, but it is very easy.

The fridge for the family room is very small, almost nothing fits in, especially considering this room has a kitchen the some might want to use.

Room was good size for a family of four, two adults and two toddlers. Had a nice kitchen, good size bathroom with shower, had basic amenities like shower gel that included shampoo. TV had good number of channels, view was not much but then again we intended only to use the room to sleep so didn't really mind. We didn't use the kitchen much as we ate out but looked like it had a good set of amenities available in case we wanted to cook (pots, pans, cutlery, etc) and two tables, one to sit down and eat and another one for one individual to sit down and write at. The breakfast buffet was extensive and quite large, had everything from pancakes, porridge, yoghurt, croissants (minis), bread, charcuterie, cheese, fruit, vegetables, coffees and teas. It was good but not the best breakfast we've had. The breakfast is served on the second floor and on the first floor is a small play area for children that has come cushions, books, soft animals and a tent to play in. Our kids enjoyed it.

Already mentioned view not much, but if like us you only need a good place to sleep in then one doesn't mind. We were using the train to get to the hotel and the nearest for us was Triangeln. It's about a 15 min walk from there which isn't too bad but does feel faw away when walking back at night.

First of all, I am very surprised because I booked a budget room without windows and they put me in one with windows facing outside on the third floor for the same price. The room was wonderful. Very spacious, bright, large and comfortable bed. Bathroom was also very spacious and clean. Overall, I really liked the hotel facilities. I thought the breakfast was amazing. There was everything: fruit, pastries, toast, cold cuts,... And the staff was very friendly. In addition, the hotel is very central and you can walk everywhere except, as was my case, to go to the distant Malmö Arena to go to the Melodifestivalen.

There is nothing that I disliked.

Extremely helpful staff. Goo d breakfast. Convenient parking. Quiet area. Laundry room w/2 washing machines & 2 dryers. My room had both a microwave & refrigerator w/small freezer compartment but limited other items to make cooking & eating convenient for wishing to cook their own meals tho there was info suggesting at least some items could be obtained from staff.

Parking cost seemed high. Washing clothes w/existing machines often exceeds 3 hr block of time requiring 2 contiguous blocks to finish washing & drying. Room could also use some chairs/benches to sit if people want to stay w/their laundry & perhaps finish quicker. Evening menu limited.

A very pleasant hotel located right in the center of Malmö. Close to the pedestrian street with plenty of shops, very near a large park and other tourist attractions. The room for a family of four was sufficient. The kitchenette was well-equipped. The beds took up a large part of the room, but that’s to be expected with four people. The room also had a TV and a fairly spacious bathroom. Everything was clean and pleasant. The curtains did a great job of blocking out the morning sun.

The Hotel has a great service and very friendly Personal. Another quiet cool Thing was to borrow the bicycles for a trip through the City. The location is close to the inner City. In 3 minutes you are at the Shopping mile. The breakfast in the Hotel was amazing with a huge selection. The rooms are comfortable and offer everything you need. It was a great stay. I can recommend this beautiful Hotel for a Trip to Malmö.

The beds are a bit small.

Location is really great, basically in the very center. Noise isolation works. No disturbing sounds carry out to the room. And we stayed during the city festival which was taking place next to us. Breakfast was large with plenty of options. Sensible policies regarding cleaning and environment. Scandic continues to be a safe choice.

Our room had one damaged and moldy ceiling panel when we entered. A janitor came right away and fixed it, without us notifying about it, so all good. Still, this should have happened other way around. Some room of improvement for marking food diets at the breakfast. Is the porridge made with milk or water? Are pancakes gluten free? Etc.
