The hotel is located near the center. It was a destination for onward travel to Copenhagen. We traveled to Copenhagen directly from the nearby Triangeln metro station, which was just 300 m away. Thru the day merto runs to Copenhagen every 15/20 minutes. Room was clean, nothing to complain; the bed was fine, breakfast in hotel was o.k. Coffee was available in the lobby all day for free. The employees were very friendly and helpful. During our visit to Malmö we visited Ribersborgs open-air bath (sauna); the entrance fee is only 8 EUR per day, towels are charged separately - a great idea to visit if it's raining :)

Very generous and varied selection of breakfast buffet and very service minded personnel. The room was pleasantly light and felt larger than it was with a working table, relaxing armchair, wi-fi and television. The location is perfect being at 5-10 mins walk from the town centre but distant enough from the main/local shopping stroll to have tranquillity and no ambient noise pollution.

I couldn't find anything to point out.

We arrived earlier than check in time, maybe we were lucky but the staff has been super nice and professional and gave us an early check in. Rooms are confortable and super clean. Breakfast has long hours and a good range of choices. We also had the chance to leave our luggage till late afternoon after check out.

Nothing really bad, if I have to say something I would say I'd love more amenities in the room and some more sweet choices at breakfast (croissant or cakes).

Great location, just away from the main centre. A very sizeable room with a comfortable single bed. The room could have easily taken a double. The shower was great! A good breakfast with plenty to choose from.

There’s no air conditioning, but at least I was able to open the window fully. Luckily I had a room facing into the inner courtyard so the noise wasn’t too bad. Not sure about having a physical key to open the room.

A freindly staff, they are available for helping and answering. Thanks to Kerstin, Fredrick and their colleagues for their warm welcoming. We booked 2 rooms, when we arrived the rooms were not adjacent so we asked to change one of the rooms if possible and they just did change the room smoothly to be close to each other. The bathrooms were clean and bathing was comfortable, even though we were in February there was no problem with hot water .We liked the breakfast. Coffee and tea available for free We stayed for 5 days, we felt like in home. . sure we may book at this hotel again.

Everything was good

A cozy room, a good breakfast, a bath to relax after a day on your feet, what could be better? This hotel provides it all.

The loading/unloading area of ​​the local store under the room's windows woke me up every day with cheerful and happy noise, starting at about 6:30 a.m. You need to plan your sleep so that you wake up by this time by yourself, otherwise you will be tired and angry for at least the first half of the day (joke).

The patient & kind gentleman at the reception in the night, who makes sure to unlock the main door for you despite exiting and entering in the late hours. I didn’t really have anything that I didn’t like about the property.

Very nice room, with the window to inner yard, so it was calm and cozy, big comfortable bed, always clean rooms. Very nice breakfast, available long time and if You have to leave earlier, they can prepare a take away breakfast. The interior in the hotel is old fashioned, though. But it is very authentic Malmö style of 70's - 80‘s. And lovely atmosphere with real artists paintings in the whole hotel. Always great stuff!

Teaterhotellet is a very nice and small hotel quite central in Malmö. It offers clean standard rooms to a very reasonable price. and is therefore a very decent and good alternative to the more luxurious and more pricey alternatives in town.

The bed was quite soft, could be a bit harder. Everything else is very convenient and nice.

The staff was attentive, and the room was clean and just right. The breakfast was lovely

In order to have fresh air, I needed to have the window open. I had been hoping to sleep in a little bit, but every morning at 7am or so, there were extremely loud trucks that sounded like they were right outside my room. It would be helpful to know which rooms have that kind of noise in the morning (or which ones are quieter) in order to choose the quieter room.
