It is close to everything , a very quiet place ,all the people who are working there, including securities, were very friendly,they courtesy were top of the range.I will visit again and again

There's nothing much, but they need to fix the shower heads and toilet drainage system sometimes it smells

Scenery

We were told you ask for the Jaccuzi to be switched on before you come as it takes 6hours as they also have to ensure other guests use it too prior to electricity costs which is not specified before booking. We asked that it gets switched on for morning use but it was never switched on

We were here for nearly 2 weeks. Our room (Triton) on 2nd floor was beautiful. The views were magnificent, bed huge and comfortable, bathroom huge and all facilities and views. Breakfast was great with inside and outside seating. Wine and snacks in evening were a nice touch. Might be tight if everyone decides to have breakfast at same time! Csrina/Fiona and team do a brilliant job. Location is about 10-15 minutes walk into Camps Bay centre and all restaurants etc. Ubers were available for return and v cheap. Tidal pool about 10 minute walk. Beaches nearby but sea water v cold and swimming not that common in sea.

I can honestly say there was nothing we didn't like about this accommodation.

Great location a few minutes walk from centre of Camps with stunning views onto the boulder strewn cove from both balcony and bathroom. Doors open to the elements was lovely but you had to remember you left them open so you didn’t get caught in the buff! Evening wine and nibbles was a pleasant addition. Breakfast was lovely and pleasant service.

We weren’t advised the Hot tub was available on request. It was covered over and clearly no one wanted to get it ready for use at will. Rooms a little small for the price tag and will need a refresh sooner rather than later

We stayed here for 5 nights and would definitely go back again. Carina (Karina?) was amazing. Professional and yet very warm and kind. She is very helpful with info and also listens to the guests needs. And gave suggestions of things to.do and placea to eat. We were lucky enough to have been upgraded to the penthouse for our last 2 nights. Thank you Carina. The breakfast choices were good. We especially enjoyed the fruit and cheese selections. And not to forget the views from the rooma and the breakfast lounge, especially the sunset!

The location and views are beautiful and the room was nice and spacious. It was perfect for appreciating the surrounding beauty. The breakfast and evening Canapes were nice as well.

The decor in the room and Guesthouse in general is a bit dated. There were certain furniture items in the room which could be replaced or reupholstered. It was lovely overall but small details like the hinge of the sliding screen in the room coming off are noticeable. Considering the price range of the accommodation, these small details should be looked at.

The hotel was In a good view of the ocean.Staff were friendly.

The expectation otn the hotel room, I thought I booked for the premium room to find that my room was standard. I was expecting a big bathroom tub and I found a shower, however it wasn't a big deal though. My Aircon wasn't working but I reported it and they fixed it the next day which was quick. I had no choice in choosing the room, they allocated me the room which was on the lower floor and I was expecting a higher floor in order to view the beach well.

Unbeatable views - some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen in a hotel. Great location and walkable to camps bay.

Some staff were less friendly than others - overall OK. You have to remember this is a ‘hands off’ guest house and not a hotel so your expectations should be aligned with that (reading some other reviews I think this where a lot the negative comments derive from).

The house is beautiful. We had the Triton room which is enormous. Complimentary drink on arrival and drinks and snacks between 6.00pm and 7.00pm every evening. The view from the balcony and bathroom is stunning. The staff were superb. The breakfast was wonderful with a comprehensive selection and cooked options. It takes about 2 minutes to drive to the restaurants and maybe 15 minutes to walk. Simply fabulous.

The interior decor was beautiful. Our room was a good size with a huge bathroom with his and hers sink. Looking out at the ocean having your morning shower, amazing. The breakfast was all freshly made and delish. The manager was lovely, really Friendly and a great host .

Some guests did not like the noise from the main road, but it is what it is when you are right on the coast. The place is away from the hassle on main camps bay, 10 min walk.
