The view from the room is breathtaking and the breakfast amazing. The room is fitted with a fully stocked fridges for your convenience. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the beach and 7 minutes from an amazing selection of restaurants just down the road. Hop-on hop-off buses of Cape Town tours pass right in front of the hotel and stop just next to the restaurants. The hotel is within 15 minutes of some of Cape Town's amazing attractions, the Waterfront, Seapoint, the CBD which has countless selection of restaurants, clubs, and eateries and others. You can't go wrong!

Great location, steps away from the beach, bars and restaurants of Camps Bay. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We had a sea view room with stunning sunset vistas. Rooms were clean and we loved the little touches like kettle/coffee making facilities with fresh milk topped up in the fridge everyday.

Sea view rooms are facing the road which is quite busy. I’d read the reviews so took earplugs so wasn’t kept awake. Would also concur that the place is a little tired and could do with a refresh but it didn’t affect the enjoyment of our stay.

The place is wonderful, nice views, clean and very comfortable. The fruits and snacks served at reception also provide an excellent sense of welcome. WiFi connectivity was excellent too. The staff have potential of spoiling the beauty of this place. They can do better in meeting clients needs. We were there to run Two Oceans Marathon and we pre-arranged for “grab breakfast on the go” service as we were going to leave quite early on the following day. This was agreed upon but not done which was a huge inconvenience. We would have organised our own breakfast if we were told that this was not possible. When we checked to understand what had happened the response was quite disappointing and nothing I would have expected considering the standard of the accommodation. No sense of accountability at all instead the focus was on trying to prove us wrong.

I was slightly apprehensive after reading some previous reviews, but I'm very glad we chose Royal Boutique Hotel and would definitely recommend. The location is excellent- a 5 minute walk to the seafront and all the bars and restaurants. There was free parking available at the hotel, which was a big bonus. The female receptionist was engaging and friendly and was kind enough to upgrade us to a sea view room. The room itself was fairly compact, but well appointed and comfortable. The towels and bedding aren't luxurious, but everything was clean and we had no complaints. Very well stocked mini-bar/coffee machine/hairdryer/AC etc. Breakfast was outstanding. Potentially the best breakfast in our 3 week holiday around South Africa.The fresh fruit selection was huge, and the pastries were fresh. The hot options were well presented and very tasty- the breakfast wrap in particular was superb. Great service at breakfast. Pool was small but pleasant and very clean. View from the bar area/terrace was gorgeous.

Our sea view room at the front of the hotel didn't block out all the noise, but that's to be expected and is a trade off for being so centrally located in Camps Bay. It wouldn't put me off returning.

We had a great stay at the Royal Boutique Hotel. All of the staff members were helpful, welcoming and friendly, especially Stanley! Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were able to check in early after arriving on an early morning flight. That was much appreciated! The hotel is in a great location, and is very close to the beach, good restaurants and bars. In particular we had a great breakfast at the Pottery and an amazing evening meal at Bo-Vine. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Camps Bay.

The hotell had a very good location close to the sea and the restaurants. My room were on the second floor facing the sea and it was very nice and clean. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was as expected with good service. Below the hotel at the main Street the Hop on Hop of buss goes which is convenient for a city tour.

If you want help for a guide tour don't use the service from the hotel. It's unnecessary expensive if you are single. Better use uber or Hop on Hop of bus instead. Also the service to the airport is unnecessary expensive compared with uber. Otherwise everything is good 👌

The general location is excellent for all things around Camps bay, and Cape Town in general. The views are great ! Watched the small humpback whales in the bay ! The staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful. The breakfasts were great

The hotel is situated right next to the main road into Camps Bay,and is busy regularly, thus noisy at times. The bathroom of our room was old, and I am not too sure that we had the room I had booked. I will write to the hotel separate about that.

The location and the view are perfect for a holiday feeling while in Cape Town, only one minute walking distance from the the camps bay strip with many restaurants, bars and shops. The room was very spacious and the staff waited for us for our late check in. The breakfast was great, with lots of freshly cut fruit! And last but not least, the view over the ocean from the room, but also from the breakfast place and the swimming pool (incl the sunset) is the best!

Our airconditioning wasn't working at the time. The swimming pool has only a few beds that are close to eachother, just something to take into consideration as you might need to head to the beach for some more space.

Location was excellent, 5mins walk to the main town and especially as Camps Bay lies at the bottom of steep roads. Very warm welcome from all staff and especially Givemore who cooked our breakfast daily to perfection, from a decent choice of breakfast. Room was attended to daily and lovely seaview from the balcony

only concern was the layout of the bathroom as the door to the bathroom meant stepping back on to the slippery shower floor to exit bathroom so care required not to have bad slip/fall

The breakfast was well presented with a much wider variety of options than expected. The timings of the breakfast were also very generous…didn’t end too early which was nice as we’re keen on a lie in!

Overall the hotel exceeded expectations in all aspects. The only thing that could maybe be improved is that we were given a fresh towel one morning which had some holes, but still clean so not a problem in that respect and didn’t affect the enjoyment of our stay at all.
