Excellent location and rooms with a view

Some people night be put off by the lack of security guard as it’s a house house not aHotel. The also was none of the usual security wire around the parameter of the fence.

We really liked everything and it is exactly how its advertised. Will definitely go back again and will recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

We really liked everything they had to offer

This was the perfect place to stay for our first time in Cape Town. It is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel but the owner and staff were amazing and very accommodating! We had the perfect view from our balcony of the sun setting over the beach and the Tabletop mountain range on the other side. Breakfast was great- some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! The location is great! Just a short walk to the beach and Camps Bay’s many restaurants, where we spent most of our time. There is also a bus stop close for the red bus tours to the wineries, penguin beach, and all around town. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to town!

The WiFi is a little slow.

We were delayed for check in, and they were available for late check in at no additional cost. We also had to leave a vehicle with them for a safe parking after check out while doing other excursions and it was well taken care of. Place is within walking distance to Camps Bay beach front and an avalanche of restaurants, bars and all sorts of night life places. The place is extaticly pleasing, bathroom is modern and open and gives a wow Look, the bed is Comfortable, they have a tea station in the room and a tugged away... Place has sufficient security, remote controlled entrances, breakfast is for free, unfortunately we could not have it as we left very early.

The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The room exceeded expectations and the location was what we expected. The local restaurants served quality food for a very affordable price. The fillet steak is still as good as it was on my first visit to Cape Town in 1974 and in my opinion the best in the world.

The botanical gardens were looking a bit tired, most probably due to the hot summer.

Close to the centre of Camps Bay and facilities

The fridge in the bedroom is in. an unvented wardrobe. Instead of keeping food, insulin etc cold the top part of the fridge got very warm when the wardrobe doors were closed. Once I left the doors open the fridge worked well. I mentioned this to Luca who said he would ensure it was sorted. It really needs proper ventilation as if my wife's insulin had got too warm it would have destroyed it. Fortunately I managed to establish the situation before any problems but during our stay had to leave the doors open.

Location is fabulous. Very close to the beach and restaurants but in a quiet place. Room was clean and comfortable.

Check in. The Check in timings are strict. 2 pm only. For people like me travelling from another country, its not possible to check in at exactly at 2 pm. I had to wait somewhere for 3 hrs before checking in at Vetho. I was communicating with them through what app for a earlier check in at least by 12:30 or 1 pm which they refused. The house was anyway empty with no guests when I arrived.

I loved everything about this accommodation, the breathtaking views as you get off your car, the very welcoming yet shy Robert, the house itself is beautiful. We booked the Table Mountain room, it was beautiful 😍, waking up to table mountain views daily was amazing, Camps Bay is also a very safe area, the Villa is located closely to all the nice restaurants and the beach. I throughly enjoyed my stay here and would return.

The Wifi was terrible, please improve on this. The standard nowadays is SMART TVs, please upgrade. We didn't even use the tv coz when traveling we just wanna login with our streaming services and with this place, we couldn't.

Location was perfect,petrol station is 5minutes away. The room had an aircon, got an extra fleece as well. There was tea and sugar in the room, but no milk. Host was very helpful and available at all times.

The rooms should be provided with milk on the day of arrival of guests atleast in the mini fridge in the room. Also the TV is very poor can upgrade to a Tv box atleast to stream netflix and show max, they only have a dstv which is not even all channels, very few channels to watch, basically no entertainment, ended up listening to the radio. Can also improve their linen,the sheets had stains that weren't washed out.

This is a light, clean and airy place with a small pool. We stayed in the garden view room. It felt very friendly and welcoming, with a great breakfast and the staff were lovely. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants/bars and only 15-20 minutes from the V&A waterfront (uber cost about £6 each way). It felt very safe in the area and at the property.
