We stayed in the large attic room and really enjoyed it. Creative use of all of the available space, but if you're tall, watch your head! Mary greeted us on a late arrival and was lovely the whole weekend. The breakfast spread was perfect, and the location is steps from the major crossroads of Amherstburg. 10/10, we really enjoyed Bondy House!

Our hosts were thoughtful and welcoming with great suggestions for restaurants, etc. The facility was clean and everything was in working order. The beds were comfortable and the washrooms were recently upgraded! Continental breakfast included delicious homemade croissants with butter and preserves; as well as boiled eggs, yogurts, muffins, cereals, and more! The location is perfect! Walking distance to restaurants, waterfront, and park. Amherstburg is a beautiful town!

Because we drove from several hours away, we found it stressful to arrive at the exact time our hosts expected us. (Note, there is a fee if arriving late. Thankfully, we arrived on time!) It's an older building with history and charm which is lovely. That being said, the wooden stairs to our rooms were quite noisy ... creaking. Note that the owners live in the building so you may see laundry drying on the clothesline by the back deck or footwear at the front door.

it was so quaint and the owners are so friendly. I work across the street and had never met them before. They were so welcoming and made me feel right at home. They were also very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I had to check in late due to an event at work that day and they were more than happy to accommodate me for that reason.

Breakfast gets you started. Location is fantastic: close to the Detroit River, beautiful parks, a wonderland of flowers and shrubs, town eateries, wonderful people. You couldn’t ask for more.

Bondy House was the perfect location for our visit to Amherstburg and the attending of a wedding at Sprucewood Estates. Downtown was walkable and we enjoyed our time there. Sandra was a great hostess and we enjoyed kibitzing with her. Continental breakfast was everything you could ask for.

Place was very charming and the people who owned it were very friendly and went above and beyond. Room was comfortable and location was amazing

Was advertised as Bed and Breakfast with full service breakfast, when in fact what we got was pre made pastries laid out in the upstairs nook

Lovely house and gracious host. Small but comfy rooms. Perfect location with walk to parks, the waterfront, shops and dining.

Breakfast was continental and mostly store-bought pastries.

The pastry plate was delicious and all we needed to start off our day with coffee. There were other items to choose from but we were satisfied with what we had. The location is perfect, beautiful historical home close to restaurants and park for walking. Very quiet. The ladies, Sandy and Mary who greeted us were very welcoming.

Nothing, we enjoyed everything.

The breakfast was wonderful. The owners kept to themselves until I needed something. The upstairs room was not as cool as the outside rooms. Room decorations were fantastic.

Temperature of the room but it wasn't incredibly hot but warmer than the other rooms & hall. I had the small air conditioner on so maybe I should of opened the window. No big deal!
