This was a very nice bed and breakfast. It was comfortable and clean and had a lot of character. The breakfasts were delicious. They also accommodated special requests (ex. I didn't want smoked salmon on my breakfast toast). They have cookies and coffee in the lobby and a happy hour in the afternoon. The location is convenient. You can easily walk to the shops and restaurants downtown.

There was no mini fridge in the room, although there was one in the common area of both buildings that guests could use.

The architecture is beautiful. We loved all the dark wood and stained glass, thick carpeting, and comfortable beds. We spent a great deal of time on the patio. The spa tub was fabulous, and the breakfast was always good and filling. There was always coffee, tea, water, sodas, granola snacks, and fruit out. It was very comfortable and quaint. The staff was nice and helpful in person or by text if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend the Blackbird Inn!

We loved the daily wine and hors d'oeuvres hour as well as the convenient setup with self-serve glasses and hot tea and fridge. We also appreciated the very comfortable king bed and deep bathtub in room 9, the beautiful house and decor, on-site parking, good air conditioning in the room, and the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was limited but came with fresh fruit daily. Overall lovely experience. Thank you!

I would have liked to be able to get just scrambled eggs and fruit as an option for my low-carb diet.

The room was very spacious and had a small kitchen which was equipped and very convenient. Swimming pool with towels provided. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t have issues with parking , but it wasn’t high season

Nothing specific we didn’t like, the staff wasn’t very friendly when we checked in, but it didn’t impact our stay. It took more than a week to receive the deposit ( this was much longer than in other hotels)

I've always wanted to stay here, but have never been able to get in on a weekend....fortunately we were able to get in for a mid-week stay. This is a beautifully and lovingly restored Craftsman style B&B...the stone fireplace is a great place to gather in the evening for happy hour wine and charcuterie. The home baked chocolate chip cookies and Danish butter cookies are a fantastic bonus! Our breakfasts consisted of homemade ham and bell pepper frittata, blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs on toast, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice. The B&B is walking distance from day spas, and the downtown area for shopping, eating, wine tasting, etc. Our hostess, Nicole, was a gem - fun, informative, accommodating, and an overall sweet person.

Our bed was a little on the overly firm side for my taste. I have some hip/low back issues, so it wasn't the most ideal. Also, our room was on the second floor - heat rises. It was quite warm, even without the room fireplace going. We ended up opening the windows each night for a little cool down and fresh air.

It was a cozy, charming place. The breakfast was decent. The staff was great! I loved that they had coffee/tea, soda, hot water available at all times. They also provided drinking and wine/champagne glasses (not just paper cups) I loved the fireplace!

What could have been better was the lighting in the bathroom. It was hard to put on makeup because it seemed rather dim. Also they had nice pillows but they were too round for me. Like a balloon they seemed like they were full of air and I couldn’t get it out, they did not mold around your head and neck. I mostly slept without a pillow. Overall we loved the location, the place, the food and the people!

Quaint, comfortable, low key and a ten minute walk into town. Away from the busy downtown but not too far. Good value for money. Great for those who want something a bit more authentic / or something different than a standard hotel chain.

One small drawback of a large house bnb is the lack of space for everyone to have breakfast in the living room area, even though it’s a large living room and with split breakfast times. However, I think that is fully reflected in the cheaper price of this establishment compared to a full line hotel downtown.

The location is on a relatively busy corner, but we didn't hear any traffic noise. Our private bathroom was clean and simple. We loved the fact that there were complimentary beverages for us to enjoy in a small cooler near the room. The main dining hall with the large fireplace was inviting and comfortable. We appreciated the individually wrapped breakfast plates for each of the guests during breakfast. The coffee was good, a variety of juices were offered, and some nice fruit. The staff was very personable, and seemed to genuinely care about everyone's experience.

There isn't anything we didn't like!

Location to walking downtown was excellent; safe, quiet, and oh so quaint. Breakfasts were different each day and prepared with care. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch, and quiet times in our rooms’ private outdoor space.

This is being really picky: 1. coffee was very weak for us. 2. Too many phone messages throughout our stay asking about bfast time preferences/happy hour attendance. 3. Our room was a bit dark. But again - that’s only cause you asked!

Location was literally minutes from downtown, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Loved our room (king guest with fireplace and patio) and we loved how breakfast was served each morning. Delicious. Also loved the quaintness and coziness of the place, and we really appreciated being acknowledged for our anniversary with some sparkling wine. Such a sweet surprise. A true gem in Napa. We will be back!

It was a mostly perfect experience. Although the breakfast was lovely, because it is a grab and go, sometimes parts of the meal (like the waffle, for example) didn’t stay warm, so that is something to perhaps consider for the future.
