The room was spacious and the bathrooms were beautiful. We were very comfortable.

The only negative thing was that the night we checked in, we had driven in from NYC in the pouring rain. It was late and we were exhausted. The male desk clerk was curt, and not welcoming at all. For someone in the hospitality industry, he wasn’t the least bit hospitable. Maybe late checkins are annoying but they are probably people who have had a very long day. He also told us check out time was 11:00am. an hour earlier than stated upon booking, and when I stated that, he said “well, noon is the latest you can check out”. After a long day it would have been nice to be greeted with a friendly face.

Our room was ready so we were able to check in early. They also put us in the back corner away from the highway and street noise.

The breakfast was not worth what they charged. There is also confusion as we thought it was part of our stay with no clear sign saying it was an additional charge. $20+ per person is not worth what they served. Especially the cost for the room for a weekend was overpriced.

The desk/check-in staff gentleman was very friendly and answered a couple of my questions with respect. The food offered in the restaurant was very good and the wait staff was excellent. The lobby was cozy with the fireplace.

The only thing I wish the room bathroom had was a ventilation fan. I think at the very least some half walls around the dining area would have made it a bit better.

Location, cleanliness and welcome exceptional. Bedding very comfortable, shower luxurious. My dog being a welcomed guest made the rest (not so favorable) seem much less insignificant.

Difficulty in getting to use WiFi, not good. Dining area/grill staff needed coaching to be friendly by reception staff. Ice provided when no ice machine found was unusable. Terrible taste.

We were a family of 4 adults sharing a room with 2 Queensize beds. The room size was good. Air conditioning unit was quieter than a lot of other hotels. Did not use the pool, so can't comment. Did not use the restaurant.

The room size was good, but the hotel did not make up our room for 4 people. We had 3 large towels, 3 small pillows per bed, 2 coffee cups and 2 sets of creamer. Air conditioning, under the window was much appreciated, but the room curtains were long, so we had to leave them open all night, which was not ideal.

The staff members and their service were great. The facility was beautiful, and I especially loved the dog water bowls in front of the building entry. Next time I visit my family in Connecticut, I will stay at the hotel again. It was very convenient staying there because my neice had her "Sweet 15 - Quinceañera" at the hotel and it was beautiful!

Love the modern, spacious lobby, complete with bar and restaurant. Easy access to highway and very clean.

The beds have a large wooden frame which extends past the mattress. Space was tight around the queen bed closest to the window and the nearby desk. Both my daughter and I smashed our shins on the bed, more than once. Boy did that hurt and left bruises. It happened easily as the eye looks to the end of the mattress, forgetting that the frame extends outward another 2 inches at least.

Our family arrived late flying into Hartford CT so our check in was not until 9pm however the receptionist checking us in was very pleasant and fast so we could get to our room after a full day of travel. The hotel is beautiful and clean any employees we ran into from front desk to the team cleaning through out were so kind and pleasant. On our last day before check out we stopped in to the business office to sharpen pencils for my 6 year old to have ready to draw on the plane rides well the sharpener in there did not work. I went to the front desk and asked if there happened to be one more on site we could use, and with out hesitation Pam went to go look only a minute later binging one back for me to use. She even visited with my little guy while I hurried to sharpen all our pencils! Super awesome staff and a lovely hotel! Should our travels find us in Wallingford again I know we will be booking here!

Hotel and room were very clean and modern. And the hotel was convenient to I-91 and to Yale.

Breakfast was not included. A little expensive at $15.00 pr person. There is a Hilton Homeward Suites nearby that I prefer (larger rooms including kitchen) but had no availability for my dates.

The location and front desk worker was more than accommodating with stay discount as well as complimentary snacks for my family.

Arrived at 430 pm for check in. Room wasn’t available until 6pm, missed dinner with my family.
