The entire property is very clean and well maintained. I have stayed here many times over the course of several years & I have consistently been favorably impressed by the Cheshire Welcome Inn. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, private, and well designed ergonomically. The staff is pleasant, kind, compassionate, patient, professional, and helpful. I am permanently physically disabled & the staff have accompadated my special needs, always providing me with a room that is very easy to access from the parking area. The Inn is located in an area proximal to many establishments ( restaurants, gas stations, pharmacies, convenience stores ), yet is set far enough “ the main drag”, if you will, that it provides for a very quiet and peaceful stay. It is also very reasonably priced & is an excellent value. I have recommended The Cheshire Welcome Inn to many people. All of these individuals have had a positive experience staying here as well.

The only area that I have observed that could stand room for improvement is that the parking area could use more ice melt, shoveling, plowing etc during the cold weather for safety purposes.

Accommodations centrally located. Able to get groceries, food and drink, gas, hike etc. within two mile radius. Facility well maintained and very clean. It is a pull-up hotel so your car is right outside, very convenient. Spacious Room. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ice machine, shower (hot water): everything worked. Felt very safe at the hotel and in the area.

On main road can hear traffic. No chairs available to sit outside the room which has a nice area just outside your door.

Everything from cozy, clean and quiet, and I didn't smell any smokers on my end of any type this I loved. Everything we need is near this hotel Inn. I actually traveled with my parents and once booked I called the hotel to see if rooms could be side by side since my parents are elderly and prior to traveling I had already a scary moment with my parents. Gentleman at the hotel said we had a room in between our room, but once we finished the call, he immediately called me back and accommodated our rooms next to each other. He did a great job in taken care and making sure we had everything needed.

That the days went quick, and in a blink of eyes it was time for me to go home. You don't get breakfast but for the price I will not complain besides that you have a variety of fast-food places nearby. My suggestion in a good manner is to place vending machines if you don't already have of snacks, drinks and food like sandwiches etc.

size of the room and room facilities, ease of parking, the motel has a considerable distance from the main road which is not so busy , so the traffic noise was not a problem. Our room also had a view of the lovelt bacyard with lots of trees... quite peaceful. Lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Ms Pari and Ms Nirani in the front desk were always friendly and helpful.

The beds were a little too soft for our taste...

I was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the bed was and how soft the sheets and towels were. There was no smell and it was VERY clean. The grounds were very attractive and my son and I felt very safe so we walked a mile up the road late at night. It was a very convenient to the grocery store and there were many food options in the area.

The air conditioner worked very well but I don’t like how air conditioners turn off and on several times through the night. It kept waking us up. The weather was extremely hot and humid and the room did stay VERY cool. Ear plugs would have solved the problem easily since I’m a light sleeper, I wouldn’t blame the motel for this.

This is a small. very quaint family run inn. The staff member we met during our one night stay was very friendly and easy going. The room was clean with a very comfortable modern style hotel bed and honestly the best towels I've ever had at a hotel/motel. There are no amenities other than a clean comfortable room and friendly staff. Convenient to restaurants. We were there for our grandson's graduation party.

I liked everything.

Very clean, older property. The room was quiet and having a refrigerator and microwave was a bonus. The landscaping was lovely.

Other than an office chair there was no where to sit in the room, another chair would have been nice . There were a only a few outside chairs, I managed to get one, the addition of outside seating would make staying more enjoyable

This motel is a fantastic value. The accommodations are exactly what you demand for an overnight stay and you won’t find a more reasonable charge

The motel has a few rooms on a lower level that has guests staying directly above you. You do not want to stay in those rooms, the noise from above just from people simply walking sounds like a thunderstorm outside

Price and also the room was right outside where I parked. For travelers with physical challenges it worked perfectly to access room from parking which was also free.

The beds are too high off the ground. Made it difficult for anyone 5 feet 0 inches and under to get into bed. The toilet also had super exaggerated pressure so expect to have an inner thigh bidet treatment during flushing if seated. If you are a standing flusher don't lean in you will get splashed.

I went to visit a girlfriend during spring break. I drove from Colorado to Cheshire in 3.5 days and home again. The Welcome Inn is close to the grocery store, park, etc. We visited Yale University etc. I'd stay there again. The owners were very accommodating.
