Exceptional staff that was very friendly and ready to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. A la carte menu was great with plenty of options. Beautiful pool and very, very clean. Loved it.

That bed sheet and a pillow cover are a bit rough, and you'll have to order breakfast a day before. Other than that, there was nothing else we could fault this beautiful place.

Lovely and accommodating staff. Always helpful and prompt. Great communication. I liked that they are conscious environmentally though. There were also waters whenever we needed in the room. Perhaps there could be a water refill station at reception though? Just to avoid using and discarding so many water bottles? Only a suggestion though :)

We were in the furthermost room in the property that backed up against someone else’s property who had music up super loud one morning at 7:00am but it was only one morning and had nothing really to do with the property. Just something to be aware of. It would be good to see the restaurant stay open a little later - maybe last orders at 8pm or 8:30pm. Not a problem though as we used Gojek instead. It would be good to see more photos on Booking.com. We hesitated on booking as we weren’t exactly sure what our room and the retreat would look like but if we had known how beautiful it really was, we wouldn’t have hesitated at all!

Overall please with our stay at Kharista by Ekosistem. Stayed in the 'One Bedroom Retreat' which are located at the rear of the property. Room design is very nice with everything functioning as it should. Plenty of natural ventilation in the semi-outdoor shower and seperate semi-outdoor toilet. Room has plenty of opportunity to let in natural light as well as having sufficient artificial lighting in all the areas needed, especially the bathroom / powder room. Also like that there is 2 A/C units, 1 in the sleeping quarters and then another in the bathroom / powder room. Staff are extremely friendly and could not do enough to assist in anyway possible for our stay. Had a birthday during our stay and the staff sang me a happy birthday, decorated the room and bed and also provided a cake, very nice touch which was greatly appreciated. The 'One Bedroom Retreats' have their own large private balcony overlooking the pool area (room 501) where breakfast is served of a morning. The grounds are beautifully maintained with staff removing frangipani leaves from the pool multiple times a day, very efficient team. Having stayed at many places in the Canggu area, Kharista by Ekosistem would definitely be accomodation we would return to. Set back off Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan there is no noise from the road but you do occasionally hear loud motorbikes up and down the shortcut (Shortcut Canggu - Pererenan) which is close to the rear of the property.

Being very critical but a couple of improvements the property owners could take into consideration. - The chairs (think cheap warung style wooden straight back chairs) on the balcony are not comfortable at all, could only sit on them for 10 mins. Upgrade to the table and chairs on the balcony would be greatly appreciated. - The entry doors (double glass sliding doors) have a large gap around the entire frame letting mosquitos in. - If you are a person who suffers mobility issues you may have a concern with the rooms right at the rear of the property as it is some walk and with a number of 3/4 sets of stairs. Kharista by Ekosistem is a great resort and with a couple of little fixes could be even better.

The Villa was amazing and lovely. Highly exceeded my expectations, would definitely returned to the same place in future. Would like to shoutout to the manager and staff (lady in specs) and the midnight crew for the great hospitality and care due to the fact that we were having food poisoning.

Could heard club music in the middle of the night and construction noises around.

I liked how each area had just a very small ratio of rooms to the shared pool, so it was never crowded and it felt very private which was perfect. Staying in Kharista also felt like i rented my own villa (without having to), which was ideal given that we were only 2 on the trip together. Room was big, lots of space, very clean and well lit. Great clean and healthy choices for breakfast, having it served to the room every morning was also a treat! Service was amazing, despite arriving at an unholy hour. Loved this property so much that this is actually the second time we've stayed here.

The room is new, clean and super comfortable! Love the bed as well, we never slept so well! The staff are all super lovely and attentive. Bathroom was big with a choice of a standing shower and a tub. Breakfast was sent to our villa promptly. Wish we stayed longer!

There were some mosquitoes but not a big deal!

Location, food, pool, spa and general service were amazing. Great location and value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The rooms have zero sound proofing and we got complaints from adjoining rooms just for talking! As the rooms back onto a rice paddy, there were also some strange noises from early in the morning which we later discovered were the workers trying to scare off birds. The shower and toilet are outside which means prone to mosquitoes but otherwise it was great.

Beautiful small hotel in Canggu, just off a busy(ish) street, but so quiet! A real oasis and a perfect start for our tour through Bali. Stunning, spacious and clean rooms (the most beautiful we've seen in Bali, I think) and a nice little front porch that we've used a lot! Nice pool area and not very busy. Amazing (!!!) food - their jackfruit rendang was out of this world. And the nicest staff!! Everybody was so attentive and helpful. Not a lot of mosquitoes or other bugs, even in the outside toilet & shower. Approx. 35' to walk to the beach, but hardly any sidewalks. Lots of nice little cafes and restaurants in the area. Loved it and will definitely be back!!

Staff is very helpful (I would even say they are trying too much) and so nice. The room was very clean and specious, the design was great and the toiletries were high quality (very creamy and nice smell). We also benefited from the two AC units (one for the bedroom and another for bathroom). The pool was shared, but big enough and the set up was also nice. And last but not least, the restaurant was great. Nice selection for breakfast, but also for lunch/ dinner. One should definitely try the food here, I think there are not many places in Bali of this kind. Keep doing a great job, guys!

Nothing that bothering, only that I mentioned "no cleaning", but they however cleaned my room. :)

We are very picky customers but we liked this place so much that we decided to stay an extra week. The location is truly perfect: in 5 minutes by scooter you can be at all the beach clubs and hotspots of Canggu. The house itself is very clean and the interior looks amazing. The bed is lovely and they change the extremely soft sheets every day. About the staff. They are so kind and bring a very positive spirit. A special thanks to Yuni and Adel who brought the breakfast every morning. You guys are so nice and fun, Kharista is very lucky to have you!
