Good location in a quiet area of town. Convenient access to grocery store next door. Our room was clean and had everything that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The little kitchenette area was useful and the in-room coffee was OK. The bathroom had a decent-sized counter space. Easy access to the Wifi. Complimentary breakfast was OK. Staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom was large, but the location of the toilet paper holder was too close to the toilet, making it awkward to reach when needed. Hot water was somewhat slow to arrive when we used the shower and the sink.

No hot tub as photos show ' Deluxe' continental breakfast consisted of a normal continental plus u could order eggs done in a microwave which were over cooked with green in the middle meaning they were over cooked. Had to go to the lobby at 2am to get the sheets for the pull out despite them knowing there were 4 ppl in the room in advance. No casino shuttle which they claimed to have when we booked our room only to get an email a day later saying it was temporarily out of service. When I asked if it was working once we arrived for our stay, I was told they don't offer a shuttle to the casino...ever! So clearly a few items of fake advertising.

We really enjoyed the size of the room (luxury suite), and the features it came with. There were nearby locations such as the friends diner which we loved, the beer store, and the Foodland. The bed was comfortable, and came with excellent pillows (both soft and firm). Suite also came with nice robes. Value for money was excellent. We got this for a holiday weekend and it ended up being a bargain for everything we got.

The room itself needed maintenence. Poor water pressure, holes in the walls, chipping paint, slightly dirty shower. The parking was extremely limited, where if you didn't secure a spot in time for the evening, you were stuck parking at the Foodland and walking back to your hotel (not ideal in the winter). The staff were generally nice, with one member being a bit unfriendly.

The room was big. Bed was comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was only toast, Bagels and cereal basically. For 200$ a night and breakfast included I expected hot food. Atleast a waffle maker and some eggs and meat. It was awful. We didn't even bother going down the second morning. Big disappointment. Also it advertises a pool which was tiny. We didn't even go in it because it was so small. Almost like a kiddie pool. I would not stay at this hotel again for the crazy prices they are charging for such a basic stay. I stay at a lot of hotels a year and this was definitely in my bottom 5

It is located near the city center, next to the supermarket Foodland. Large parking lot. The building is new. Friendly hotel administrators. They settled us right away. The executive suite room consisted of two rooms, one with a kitchen counter, a comfortable sofa and a large TV, a table with a chair, in the other - a bed, a TV, an armchair, a wardrobe. Large comfortable bath, separate washbasin. There is a coffee maker, a hair dryer, an iron with an iron. Large refrigerator and microwave. There is a set of plates, glasses and spoons. The pool, although small, is deep. The water is heated, clean, warm. Outside that day it was -18. Continental breakfast: coffee, juices, sandwich sets, jam, bananas, apples, yogurt and musli. I liked the hotel

Everything is ok

I enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchenette. Would of been a better stay if the recliners where not so low to ground and more comfortable to sit in, if they were reclining chairs 100% rating from me. When sitting in the room I like to be comfortable and the chair was not. The breakfast needs work. Only "scrambled" eggs as an option and didn't see any fresh fruit (strawberries ,blueberries) sitting in breakfast area was not comfortable either. Staff were very friendly and help with every need I had, very welcoming. I will stay again but wish the chairs in rooms were more update and comfortable, felt like I was sitting on the floor and couldn't but my feet up. Room was nice but the fridges need updating. Mine made a very loud noise all the time and that was the only noise to wake me from sleep plus freezer area was full of ice so I couldn't use it for my items. very disappointed there. Over all a good place to stay but just a few changes and I'd think of using them next time I come.

Loved the suite. Kitchenette with larger fridge good and lots of counter space. Some utensils, mugs, plate and bowl provide along with dish soap and towel. I loved that window door slid open and fresh air enjoyed in evening. LOTS of storage space! Keurig coffee (Kirkland) great. Furniture a bit dated but everything worked! Overall, comfortable areas. Continental breakfast ok… there were scrambled eggs but I got down at 0940 so not much left n cold. Pool is small and clean. Great place to stay longer than one night! Lovely staff. Thank you all!

Personally don’t like carpet in rooms due to allergies etc. Website says no pets but sign at counter said pet friendly. One of our group stayed at another hotel because of misinformation. I did not see where I could control temperature in the room. I could hear ventilation go on and off but I really needed to turn down temp at night. Fortunately I had a fan with me. Allowed to visit in the Granite room which was appreciated so much but must admit that tables and chairs uncomfortable. A loveseat and couple of padded chairs might have been nicer for those with sore muscles.

I recently stayed at Stone Gate Inn in Orillia with my girlfriend and her dog, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the manager, Karan, greeted us with such warmth and genuine hospitality. He made us feel instantly at home, and his attention to detail throughout our stay was impeccable. The rooms were spacious yet incredibly cozy, providing the perfect blend of comfort and style. The whole hotel had a lovely, fresh scent, adding to the calming atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The hotel is also in a prime location, making it easy to explore Orillia, and they were more than accommodating with our dog, which made the stay even more special. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. Everyone—from the front desk to the cleaning staff—was smiling and friendly. You can tell they love working there, and that positive energy really made our experience memorable. It speaks volumes about the management and the overall quality of the hotel. I can't recommend Stone Gate Inn highly enough—it’s truly a gem!

Honestly, I have no dislikes about my stay at Stone Gate Inn—it was absolutely perfect! From the warm welcome to the comfortable rooms and excellent service, everything exceeded my expectations. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back!

Breakfast was good, coffee was excellent! We loved our room for size and location in a quiet area, away from the elevator. While we didn't use the small indoor pool, it looked very inviting!

As I mentioned when checking out, there was a very loud noise coming from the ceiling vent in the bathroom which disturbed my sleep! Since we were on the top floor, I "think" that AC equipment on the roof may have been the source. If we return, we will request a room on a lower level!

The front entry is just as you see it in pictures. The hotel is somewhat vintage, and though they’ve modernized, they’ve kept the flavour. The breakfast area is very cozy. We ended up having a wonderful visit with the other patrons. If you don’t like that coziness, maybe stay somewhere else. We loved that about this place.

The clerk made scrambled eggs to order. Might have been nice to have a little more protein options, like bacon or sausage. This is not really a negative.
