The hotel was situated in a great central location. The staff were very helpful from reception, bar staff and cleaning. The rooms were spacious and airy. Perhaps a little dated but very authentic which I loved. The beds and pillows very comfortable. It was my first time staying here but the 3rd + 5th time for my son and his fiance. They are looking for a wedding venue and I think we may have found it!

There was no tea/coffee in the room. I had to ask. But when I did - it was no trouble and provided by the end of the day. No coffee though, just tea, which I don't drink. I had to buy coffee :)

Centrally located. Friendly courteous staffs at reception front desk. Excellent hard working breakfast room staffs. We are very pleased with the room, a comfortable bed, 2 extra pillows, a little pot to heat up water for tea. Breakfast food was very good, complete balanced breakfast with eggs, cold cuts meat and cheese. Fresh fruits, homemade bread and pastries of so many kinds to choose from. 2 coffee machines were both working fine. .

The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting Lucca & Florence. Montecatini is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants. The hotel staff were very attentive, especially Eleanor at the pool who looked after us very well, going over and above with her service. We would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was very good. Enjoyed the pool. Reception staff very helpful too. All other things were great, comfortable beds, nice linen, good shower.

It partially felt like going back in time to "grand hotels" I only saw in movies. Rooms are grand with traditional rotary telephone, staircase is grand with all the marbles and sculptures, lobby is grand with a pianist in the evenings and with wooden key rack behind receptionist... An experience on its own. Special shout-out to a lovely lady managing the pool - very attentive and helpful. Thank you for making our days special.

This is a lovely hotel in a very central area of the town. It has an element of faded grandeur about it but the staff were delightful, the room was absolutely fine and even had a lovely little outdoor terrace, and the hotel has all the facilities you need. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.

Parking is slightly difficult so make sure you get clear details from the hotel.

Beautiful room overlooking the square with a water fountain. Lovely to wake up too. Family room and we all had enough space. Easy to park in Blue spaces, you get a ticket from reception. Pool was open even though it said it wasn't and the town is so lovely!

Breakfast was a little limited.

The room and food provision was very good and the lady at the pool was very friendly and helpful

Not much to dislike. We originally had problems with WiFi connection but the hotel dealt with this efficiently.

The property is ideally placed for easy access to the main square, funicular, and the Centro train station. It is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very kind and helpful.
