The location was very nice. You could see the St. Lawrence Seaway and there were nice walking trails across the street. Also, it’s close to Long Sault Parkway, which has wonderful scenery. The motel was quiet. The water pressure in the shower was great, with plenty of hot water. The owners were nice and very cordial. I had to cancel the second part of my stay due to an issue at home and they made sure I wasn’t charged.

There was rust in the sink. The wall color could have been more up-to-date.

My husband and I have stayed at the lion motel many times and everytime we were happy and comfortable. We have returned many times because we are pleased with the room #1 is the room we have always stayed,, #1 has become very senemental to both of us. Thank You very Much to the Staff of the lion motel. We will be there again in the summer. Stay Safe

Very clean and spacious room with all the amenities you need. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker & more. Comfortable king size bed. Welcoming host. Walkable to nearby restaurants. Close to nearby activities and sites. Great value for the $$$. Would return here in the future.

It was situated in a great location for our trip. We had a nice dinner at the pub which was in walking distance. Clean and comfortable.

It was a little noisy when the next room ran the shower or if you flushed the toilet in the middle of the night.

Room was clean, beds comfortable and the staff are wonderfully friendly. Proximity to restaurants, LCBO, Tim Hortons was great.

The exterior door knob on the room is too close to the door jamb and pinched my fingers more than once. Room 4 needs new outside chairs but room 5 had checked out so we used theirs. 😂

The Lion is an older motel. It was fresh looking, smelling & very clean. The grounds are lovely although it does not have a swimming pool or a breakfast service. Since my sister & I were staying only one night in the area it suited our purposes. I would stay there again.

For the price it was just fine.

Very comfortable beds. Crisp quality sheets. Management was very approachable and helpful. No disturbances whatsoever. Great pub nearby for quick dinner. Totally suited our needs.

Nothing. It is not a new building but the management are taking excellent care of it and providing excellent service.

Nice location, very friendly staff. Close to the highway and near the water. Nice pub nearby for dinner. Appreciated the large power bars for charging phones, cameras and computers!

Washroom was very clean, but could use some updating. Otherwise the facilities were great!

The location was fantastic , the room was clean beyond our expectations the owners were great friendly and helpful !

Myself being a double amputee find it difficult to use the toilet without a wall bar or 2 !
