I have to admit, I was sceptical about staying here after reading some reviews. However it was perfect for our four night stay. We travelled as a family with two young children. We had a room with a pool and sea view. We had a living room with two bedrooms, plenty of wardrobe space and a good size bathroom. Reception was very nice and welcoming. We went all inclusive and I cannot rate it highly enough. We had fresh fish, steak and lots of tasty options. If we were there longer we may have got bored but everything was tasty, fresh and well presented. The pool was very well maintained and the hotel is on the beach so you can pop to the beach then straight back to your room or lounger! Entertainment was great. My daughter went to the kids club which she loved and evening was good all round family entertainment. All the staff were so welcoming. The hotel was so clean. You can walk to the town of Nerja or get a bus from outside the hotel. It is so pretty, I highly recommend you visit during your stay. For families I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are not modern but I wasn't expecting that so just an observation rather than criticism.

On the beach. Large pool. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice location, about 2km from Nerja centre.

Hotel did not book requested taxi service to or from the airport. Large breakfast buffet but little fresh food. A lot of heavily processed food items

Beach is a bit rough and could do with a bit of proper leveling. Pool was freezing so was not an option to use so a lovely empty pool all day.

We were not on full board so the options for lunch were very limited around the pool/bar area. The shower in the room is ancient and badly effected by different flows of extreme hot or cold.

The staff worked tirelessly around the clock to ensure the place was spotless. Efficient meal service was a real plus even if there were sometimes queues at breakfast. The entertainment team also worked really hard to provide entertainment for all ages. The food is freshly prepared and lots of choice at all mealtimes. The rooms are clean and lovely view from the balcony. The location is quiet but welcome at times as nerja is busy this time of year.

The hotel itself could do with updating. The sunbeds were a bit tired. Only one bar was operating so there could be queues at times.

We have been to Marinas six times now and hopefully that shows that we are happy with being there. We had halfboard, breakfast and dinner which is fine for us and we can choose what we would like to drink with the food. The winelist has been improved which we were happy about. Excellent breakfast and dinner with many different choices. Walking along the beach into Nerja city is a very nice walk. Very friendly personnell in the reception and also in the restaurant and bar. Cleaning personnell and technicians were also very helpful. The only thing to improve is the strength of the WiFi. To work I had to sit close to the reception.

The size of the apartment was great, and the hotel complex was right on the beach which was lovely. Breakfast was included in the cost, and there was a great choice from which to choose. I also had dinner there two evenings, and was pleasantly surprised. My apartment was on the top floor with great view of the sea and the sunset. The balcony was big and very comfortable. Having the top floor, meant that i could leave my window open so i could hear the waves also at night. Having a security safe was also great. The kitchen facilities for me was more than ample. The apartment was very roomy.

Sadly the bathroom and kitchen, though more than ample for my needs, were both tired and would benefit from an upgrade. There was no iron in the room, however the when I spoke to the staff, all that was required was to inform them when i needed it and it would be brought to the room. So again this would not have been an issue. There was an issue with the TV and shower and within minutes of reporting it to the desk staff they deployed someone to fix it. Great service

It was a great family holiday resort - although we didn’t have children with us - the evening shows were entertaining. There was a good selection of food,a trip into Nerja was €10 so a nice change of scenery

The queue for the poolside bar was not acceptable - the temp was 44 degrees umbrellas were right in Fri t of the bar but not all the way along so standing waiting for a cold drink was not pleasant I gave up my place for a woman with a small baby to ensure she was in the shade - in term the under staff team were notably and understandably short with their service trying hard to keep up - reception can see the queues from their spot so why this was not rectified day after day I’m not sure ??

Food! Delicious every day, there was something else. Good value all inclusive with good drinks. Rooms spacious easy access to the beach. All staff from bars and kitchen and dining exceptional! Hard workers and always happy to help smiling all day throughout! Facilities were great. they look exactly like on the photos.

Not enough entertainment during a day and evening, sometimes none and in the description was listed that is daily and on going - have a big expectation since is 4* Location is a bit far from the city of Nerja, but plesent walk along the beach.

The views from the balcony were stunning! The staff is working very hard to keep this hotel running. They smile everytime they see you and they're doing what they can to make your stay pleasent.

Rooms are pleasant, but needs improvement. Some old furniture must be changed. TV is too small with few satellite international and local channels. Wi-Fi is almost non-existent, works just in the lobby. Every morning If you're not at 8:30 sharp at the breakfast you'll be staying at queue for about 10 - 15 minutes to enter the breakfast area which is very busy. At the swimming pool it's full of noise from the children. So I recommend staying at the beach. In the evenings every night they have a themed party until 11 - 11:30, so If you're not a party guy it's not for you because the noise is going through the entire hotel.

Clean and pretty

The bathroom in our room(118) seems outdated. The shower has one grab bar and not a second one to hold getting out. Can’t hold onto the glass half door since it is on a hinge. The inside of the bathroom door needs painting. It has been patched. The allergens for foods are not consistently posted for all meals and I have seen none for the hot food section yesterday and breakfast and lunch today. I was delighted though with the Roads Scholar first night dinner and the alternate nut free salad and dessert I was given. Gracias!
