I read the reviews and wasn’t expect too much as a few had mentioned the hotel being “dated”. The room was clean and comfortable with a what seemed like a newly fitted modern bathroom. The room had a large comfortable bed, the room its self was big with plenty of space. The view was exceptional!!!! Parking wasn’t a problem for us, we parked at the side of the building. The price was excellent for the room including a breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and evening meal was yummy. Our stay was very pleasant, wish we could have stayed longer.

There wasn’t anything to dislike, nothing was too much. Wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was served a little early for me (8-9am) but that is personal preference. A like to set off on the walks/start their day early- I’m not an early bird.

Very clean spacious rooms and lovely friendly staff. The bar was lovely with an open fire. The breakfast was also very good. Located in Reef not Richmond Reef is a very quiet walking village with not a lot of the facilities open in January. We enjoyed the nearby walks with beautiful scenery but little else to do in this area

The decor was a little dated and in some places in need of redecoration as it was showing signs of wear and tear.

Everything was perfect. We just wanted a night away from home, kids etc. So we booked a night on a whim. We were not disappointed at all. Really friendly staff, easy and friendly check in. The room was AMAZING. The bathroom was huge, which I did not expect. The bed was so comfy and we even had Netflix 😏 We had every intention of exploring. But the weather put a stop to that, so we decided to stay in and watch the rugby downstairs in the bar. The fire was gorgeous. Food was amazing 👏 😋 Breakfast was also perfect. Will definitely come back. Thank you x

The bar area was so cosy and welcoming, with the fire on, exactly what you want when your soaked through from a long hike in the rain! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was warm and comfortable with a lovely shower and the breakfast was great! Plenty of choices for cooked options aswell as fruit, cereals and yoghurts. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

The only fault I can pick is that we couldn’t connect to the wifi as there was something wrong with it at the time, which was only a small issue as we had no reception in Reeth and needed to check things for the following walk the next day.

The breakfast was the best I have had on any comparable holiday, choice, quality and quantity were all excellent. All butchers quality meats used (Black pudding was delicious) all were well cooked and you could have any combination of any item nothing was too much trouble. Even the dog had a choice of breakfast! Exceptional

Bed and pillows were a bit hard for us, nothing else we would change

Stayed for one night with my wife and young grandson after a trip to the Wensleydale cheese factory. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The room was the family room and it was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was really nice and they even cut up a sausage for our dog and brought it out in a little dog bowl. I would definitely recommend it.

Whilst there ordered 2 small fish and chips. Absolutely terrible. Chips were dry. One of the fish was virtually just batter most of the meal was left. £18.00 not good value. Let all efforts to make our stay great down. Didn't complain as having a good time and did not want to put the dampers on our stay.

Reeth is a very nice village in North Yorkshire on the Coast to Coast route. The staff were very friendly and helpful and in fact we enjoyed a delicious evening meal with some friendly local residents. Breakfast was very tasty too and was very filling.

There was nothing that my wife and I didn't like and there was nothing that we feel could reasonably have been improved upon. We got everything that anyone could have reasonably expected.

Beautiful location. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was large and the King Size bed was comfortable. We ate in the downstairs pub in the evening which was busy with, what seemed to be, lots of regular customers which is always a sign of a good pub.

Our room was a little cold on arrival, so I asked if the heating could be turned on. Staff informed me that the heating was on a timer, but that they would see if it could be turned on. A difficult one as it was lovely and warm downstairs in the pub. Perhaps some type of separate heater for the rooms so only the room could be heated, particularly in the colder months.

Great location, Free Parking, Clean, Very Friendly, Evening Meals & Breakfasts Were Great, Staff Were Hard Working & Attentive. Overall A Nice Place To Stay.

Beer was Expensive. Dogs In The Food Area. I Don't Mind Dogs But Sniffing At Your Table Whilst You're Eating! Owners Fault Not The Dogs. It Would Be Nice To Have A Dog Free Eating Area.
