We liked the decor , the cleanliness , and the breakfast . Beds were very comfy and the whole B&B was very clean . Fantastic views from the breakfast room and overall a lovely trip .Was very impressed with how quiet the room even though it looked onto a road , we heard no noise. Lovely cakes , sweets and fudge as a welcome gift too!

The property was located on the market square next to a mini roundabout but the room was quiet. The facilities were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice including fresh fruit and full Yorkshire breakfast.

It would have been good to have lined curtains to cut out some of the daylight. The car park at the back of the property was very small and quite awkward to park in.

Breakfast was amazing. High quality ingredients, specifically noticed was butchers bacon and proper filter coffee. All cooked well. Host went above and beyond to cater for dietary requirements despite us not giving advanced notice. Tastefully decorated throughout.

Comms received via booking.com were hard to read and understand. Presumed beyond the control of the host so not reflected in the high ratings given. Important information was easily missed or overlooked.

Lovely clean and comfortable room with an amazing view looking over the dales. Tracey was very friendly, attentive and nothing was to much trouble. I highly recommend the Haven and would definitely stay again

My only issue was getting into the shower. My mobility isn't good and a grab rail in the shower would have been helpful. Otherwise I have absolutely no faults with the accommodation at all

Haven House is well located for exploring the Dales, as well as providing many conveniences, with restaurants, pubs, and other amenities nearby. Tracey and Iain were excellent hosts, making us welcome and remaining available for advice and information. We loved the views from our room and also from the breakfast area. Tracey’s full English breakfasts are excellent, with her delicious homemade jellies and jams as a bonus.

The shower was difficult to manage.

Beautiful rooms, with a lovely snug so we could meet our friends there. The owner lit us a fire and kept it going for our return. Very snuggly beds. Well provided tea facilities in the room, with wine glasses and bottle opener, home made biscuits and fresh milk in a mini fridge in the wardrobe (which didn’t disturb us). Great location for walking down to the Wensleydale railway (We were there for the Gin train, which is brilliant!) and the Michelin Sandpiper restaurant (also lovely food at a reasonable price). We were allowed to park before check in time, and could also leave the car the next day. Breakfast was delicious, all the ingredients were delicious: if you’re not a big sausage fan try these anyway as they weren’t too flavoured. Even the toast was made with delicious fresh bread and they have homemade marmalade. Also they recently won 4 in a Bed (on Channel 4 but I’ve not been able to find their episode) but If we go back we will definitely stay here again. Nov 2023

If you don’t like dogs they have two, but they are kept very separate from guests. They do bark overs face when you go near the cars but that’s probably a benefit for security! The shower was a little tired but nothing else to grumble about!

Haven House is situated right in the middle of Leyburn just a couple of minutes walk from a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The room, which had a good view over the main square, was very well insulated against any noise, though even the main road is very quiet by 9pm. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of food and another great view towards the hills. Iain and Tracey were friendly and helpful.

The car park (for 4 cars) is a little small when all the rooms are occupied, but there is also free parking in the main square, so this wasn't really an issue.

Lovely location in Leyburn, owners of the B&B take pride in their work and property and deliver a good service to their guests. Nice little treats left on the room which are a nice touch. Good breakfast, always served with a smile! Lovely breakfast room and snuggle lounge room too.

Our bathroom had a lerking smell. But due to the age of the property we understood and accepted.

Bathroom was amazing (room 5). Very comfortable bed. Good night's sleep. Car park was a bonus. Good breakfast we'll cooked and loved the full English.

One of the coffee cups had not been cleaned and also found chocolate button sweet on floor by the bed.

Tracey was a fabulous host loved room that had a mini fridge with milk and water exellent breakfast plenty choice great location would definitely recommend to stay hear leyburn beautiful place to visit great walks jayne xx
