Lovely friendly place with good food and good breakfast. Room was warm and cosy. Bath and shower was great to have choice. Dog friendly was a big plus and lovely welcome package for them on arrival. Handy for main road and Yorkshire Dale's. Lots of grass around accommodation to walk the dogs on.

One side of mattress had collapsed, we had to turn the mattress around so we didnt fall out of bed, also a few holes in duvet cover and pillow cases. Cost of dogs was quite alot, would be nice to have cost per dog advertised before booking.

Great friendly and smooth check in. Food was delicious and served promptly and good value Room was very clean and comfortable Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and nothing too much trouble if you wanted to adapt the range offered Location was perfect with great views and even though at the side of a road the noise was minimal. Would definitely retuurn

Friendly and welcoming, in a very handy location for Barnard Castle. Very pet friendly too, even providing a bed, feeding mat, bowl & some treats for our dog (there was a small charge for having him with us). Great breakfast included in our family room rate, which made it really good value.

WiFi didn't work in our room (although to be fair we didn't go and ask if they could sort it).

Lovely atmosphere felt very homely. Good food and good menu choice for dinner. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable, breakfast was very nice with a good choice from cereal full English and toast. it was great they are dog friendly so our dog love staying there the night with us.

Nothing at all

Very welcoming stopover conveniently located right on the A66. Comfortable quiet room. Very dog friendly. Flexible and helpful owner - made us up a takeaway breakfast as we were off early. Good food menu. A little pricey but no different to most places these days so understandable.

All was good really - nothing negative.

What a little gem this place is. Beautiful room, clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything that you needed. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were just right. Food at the inn was lovely and there was a good choice. Breakfast was fabulous. Lots to choose from and good quality ingredients. Best food I had eaten at all of the (more expensive) hotels that we stayed in on our trip. Services was impeccable and hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again when traveling through to Scotland next.

There wasn't anything that I did not like.

Amazing Stay. Wonderful hosts. The waitress was attentive and very helpful. Food was great. The most comfortable bed & everything you need in the room. Spotlessly clean. Great Location for a stop off. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing to not like.

We used the Rokeby Inn as a stop over between Cairnryan ferry and home. Very convenient on the A66 and despite this the room was very quiet. Comfortable family room with plenty of room and nice and clean. We had an evening meal in the pub which was very good and breakfast was also very nice.

Unfortunately there was a slight damp smell in the room

Stayed in a lovely family room with quality furniture and bedding, the room and ensuite were sparkling. Lovely breakfast included. Also liked the kids toys in the bar/dining area, a nice touch!

It would be great if they offered a travel cot

Staff were excellent, room was clean & comfortable, food delicious and our dog made very welcome.

It was beside A66 - but closer than we had thought & no fencing, with our dog it was not a problem. Windows cut out most of the traffic & we slept well.
