Whashton Springs is a truly exceptional working farm and located in such a rural area yet only 7 miles from Richmond. The farmhouse, courtyard and accommodation were so picturesque and very fitting for the location. The room offered everything we could have asked for, was impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. We were offered a very substantial breakfast – just what we needed to start our day. Jane, the owner, was very receptive and made herself available to meet any needs we had. What a lovely lady. Would we visit again – without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

Jane is truly the hostess with the mostest! Our stay was for 3 nights, the rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed and spotless. What can I say about the bed except .....one of THE best sleeps ever.. Breakfast....I'll just say yum yum yum. The eggs are off the farm and taste exquisite. The sausages are locally made. I can't think of a single negative about Whashton Springs Farmhouse B&B. You see the local wildlife from your room, bluetits and woodpecker amongst them, and the farmhouse pussycat knows how to turn on the charm...oh those eyes Ferguson! Thank You Jane & David for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back ♥️

There is nothing not to like about this B&B. It is amazing

Lovely, peaceful, relaxing location. Huge but cosy room with a lovely view out over the fields. It was so lovely to lie in bed with the window open and nothing but the sound of baa-ing sheep for miles around. Super friendly 3 legged cat came to say hello a couple of times as we walked to/from the car (outdoor only and stayed well away from room in case you’re allergic or not a cat lover). Lovely friendly hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Water pressure wasn’t great, but adequate for a shower.

Very enjoyable stay. This is our second visit and we hope to come again in the near future. Ideal accommodation for anyone with mobility problems as the rooms are at ground level. Very clean. Breakfast excellent. Would highly recommend. Jane and Eileen made us very welcome. Plenty of birds at the feeders for anyone interested in birds We visited local pub at Kirby Hill for our evening meal. Locals made us welcome and the food was very good and reasonably priced.

Nothing to dislike.

Lovely farmhouse and rooms set in a stunning location. It is in a wonderful quiet part of the countryside on the outskirts and within minutes of Richmond. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff were very friendly. Jane is a superb host. We will go back and stay when we are next in the area. Many thanks.

Mobile signal was weak when we were there, but that's modern life. We didn't need them really. Switch em off and enjoy the peace instead.

Such a beautiful Yorkshire Dales farm and so quiet and relaxing. We were there for two days and had a lovely time. Played golf at Richmond, went to a wedding, had a super value dinner in a local pub, The Shoulder of Mutton, and thoroughly enjoyed our beautifully presented and prepared breakfasts. Freshest eggs in the country. Wonderful fruit. Best rhubarb ever! Pandered in our suite overlooking the flock of sheep with their lambs. Bliss.

The location was outstanding, so quiet and peaceful which made it so relaxing. Easy access to plenty of things in the area. Jane was wonderful and so.were her staff, helpful and made our stay easy going. The accommodation was well presented and had so much space. The room we had was very large with a beautiful view of the gardens and surrounding fields We both enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of food and a very good service. For what we wanted from our stay in the area (for three nights) it could not have been better. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation and will most certainly return in the future. Absolutely nothing.

Friendly helpful owner. Tranquil location, close to Richmond, with no farm noise. Hot freshly cooked food from the farm with good choices available including a variety of fresh fruit. Very spacious bedroom with great view over garden and beyond. Large lounge available for guests and good garden patio with furniture. Excellent large soft bath towels.

Useful to have printed breakfast menu on each table as there was only one available. Ideally we would have liked a small table in the bedroom and a couple of easy chairs. Great to have a bath in the room but hand held shower was at times erratic with temperature changes.

We loved everything, the location was incredible, private, beautiful and only ten minutes walk from the beach! The accommodation itself was spick and spam, couldn't fault it, so comfortable and the fine details very well thought out so we really didn't need to bring many extras at all.

The room was large, clean and very comfortable. There was also a small fridge which is so useful when you are travelling. The bed was really comfortable too and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Just a few flies in the room (not surprising as it is a farm) - a fly spray would have been great.
