Gmundnerberghaus is amazing! We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
Google Maps directed us along an unusual route. It indicated that the hotel was only 400 meters away, and we could even see the building. However, the only visible path was a very steep, grassy trail, which didn’t seem suitable for our car. It ended up taking us another 20 minutes to reach the hotel. Clearer directions would have been helpful.

Amazing hotel with a wonderful view of the Alps. I was incredibly surprised. The room was absolutely perfect, the shower and toilet were clean and it smelled good. The possibility to choose what I want for breakfast is a big +. In the room is the opportunity to have tea, coffee. Overall I am 100% satisfied and will definitely come back for a longer stay. There is a huge amount of activities in the area.
Soft beds I missed the brochure in English.I didn't find it. Maybe it was in there somewhere.

Amazing please, so nice and kind people working here, breakfast was fabolous, dog friendly and so quite around, amazing view . Recomended 10/10 🥹
Wifi not work good in room, when you need to work, it could be problem . Sometimes work sometimes no… Restaurant is close- will be nice if even bar is open.

We really liked the amazing location of the place, the room was great. Highly recommend to those who like a village atmosphere and are not looking for a central place.
When we arrived and during our stay the place felt a bit deserted, we didn't meet people.
