The staff at this hotel was amazing. They were very helpful and couldn't do enough to assist you at all times of the day. Room service came very fast. The room was very big, just as pictured, and very clean. Bed felt luxurious and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The neighbourhood is amazing, full of great restaurants and cafes in a very short walk (3-5min) from the hotel.

The rooms may need a bit of updating as some aspects of it (e.g. bathroom) are quite dated. The hotel breakfast was a bit underwhelming (quality could be improved). I second a lot of other guests' opinion about the strong scent in the lobby and even room - this is an easy fix.

Best location for restaurants and going out! Really good showers and lots of space.

Breakfast needs some improvement. Rather limited selection and every day the same stuff. Coffee was not great and if you want anything else (like an espresso or an omelette), you have to pay extra for it. Good news, some great coffee shops around the corner to get decent coffee. Can be a bit noisy (depending on where in the hotel your room is located).

The George V is exceptional in all aspects. The staff is super friendly and the service is totally guest-oriented. The rooms are perfect in size and always clean. The breakfast is typical Brasil. We will surely come back.

There were building works in neighbouring building and I was disturbed by the noise in the morning. It was also unsightly from my bedroom windows

They spray in all common areas (and in the bedroom when we first arrived) a very strong scent that gives headache. The breakfast choice was “ok” Our bedroom windows where facing a building site

The staff were kind enough to let us check in at 10am rather than 3pm because the rooms were available. Was a lovely, comfortable place to stay and a great, safe location with bars and restaurants just around the corner.

Beds were very comfortable, the space was magnificent, location was great, staff and service was impeccable!

Wifi was occasionally slow, but this did not impact our stay greatly.

It’s a great location close to nice restaurants within walking difference. We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment with a terrace which was amazing, super clean, and very comfortable with a family.

A little update of the bathrooms would be great but it’s a minor thing. Everything was still nice and super clean.
