This is a beautifully renovated hotel with lovely use of wood panelling in the lobby. It would be a lovely place to have a conference. It is in a great location in Prince George with a microbrewery and a fantastic Indian restaurant (Karahi King) next door. The staff are lovely and there is a well appointed gym, pool and hot tub. The rooms are very carefully renovated.

We didn't love the toilet situation in our room. It is (I guess) avant garde and very beautifully & expensively upgraded, but the system has a glass wall between the bathroom and sleeping area. The idea seems to be that if you close the door completely, the glass frosts over and you (mostly) can't see your travel companions showering or going to the bathroom. It does create a massive lightbox in the room, which could be annoying if you have a travel buddy who needs to go the bathroom several times at night. It must have been very expensive to do but I think it took 'open concept' to a level that we weren't 100% comfortable with.

Very clean, comfortable beds

The parking garage, it was hard to locate the elevator and it took my partner some time to locate and return to our room. We also ended up going back and completely unpacking the car as employee at front desk was not very clear as to whether our possessions would be safe if left in. I now think they would have been. No restaurant which was fine as there were quite a few alternatives in the area,and we had a great meal at the Keg. There was a Starbucks available. What I wasn’t impressed with was it would have been nice to have some printed literature in our room about what and where. I took a picture of the board in the hotel lobby. There was also no instructions on how to operate the t.v. Remote which was irritating as we actually had to get an employee to help us.

Very comfortable, well appointed and spacious King suite. The bed was fantastic... probably one of the best sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Thanks to Michael for fixing the TV after trying three different remote controls. 😊 Front desk staff were great!

Would've liked to done a bit of work in the gym, but for some reason, there was no air-conditioning, and it was incredibly hot to the point where nobody would probably use that space. Make sure you ask to park in the Parkade across the street as even the police officer told me not to park anywhere downtown. It's great that the hotel offers the Parkade option.

I enjoyed my stay here. Had all I needed, the room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning adjustable. The staff was quite helpful, location near some nice restaurants. I had the opportunity to compare this hotel with another option, which was nearby and slightly cheaper. It was worth to pay a bit more here, the difference was huge.

I didn't know how to turn off the bathroom ventilation - seemed random and would run all night. I also didn't like the way how they made me register to their online pre-check-in. The central location in Prince George is good and bad. Good because there are some restaurants and shops around. Bad because there are many drug addicts in the street and it's quite far from some proper / bigger shopping areas.

Spotlessly clean, which I've found is unusual for a pet-friendly room in many hotels. The check-in desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The bed/mattress was very comfortable and we slept extremely soundly. Very quiet, but I can't comment on whether that was due to good soundproofing, or if we were just in a less busy bit of the hotel. The heating system was quieter than most and quickly achieved and maintained a comfortable temperature when it was -14C outside.

We've stayed here before so knew what to expect, but who ever thought the "see-through to opaque" bathroom wall design was a good idea?? The privacy aspect works fine, as long as you make sure that the sliding door is completely closed, but use of the bathroom light during the night illuminates the bedroom through the opaque glass and disturbs anyone trying to sleep. It's a poorly designed gimmick that we tolerate because everything else about this hotel is so good.

Location is good, central and facility is clean and professional. Parking is secure. Quite modern and tasteful.

Honestly, I really dislike the glass bathroom. The glass is supposed to go opaque when the lights are on, but it doesn’t…at least not enough to not be transparent! And we had a beautiful large room with one king bed, but the whole other end of the room was empty, no table or couch. There was a desk attached to the wall on one side of the room and two nice but small, uncomfortable straight backed chairs. It would have been so nice to sit on a sofa or a comfy chair, for which there was ample room. We ended up sitting on the bed. Why this waste of resources?

The front desk staff were more than exceptional, who were very polite, understanding, and had no problem changing our rooms, & understanding as to why. We were originally given an older outdated room, and as my husband had stayed there previously, he knew that there were much better rooms available. The 1st room was a junior suite to start, and unfortunately, it was decorated in outdated decor. It had a distinct smoking room smell to it. However, the 2nd room was perfect, clean, and had updated decor, including a very interesting smoke screen bathroom feature and a spacious bathroom. Had it been our 1st visit and had been given the 1st room, most likely, we would not return for another stay. Unlike the 2nd room, which definitely made us want to return again. The parkade made us feel comfortable about leaving our vehicle unattended in the downtown area. which appeared to have a distinct homeless person issue or trouble individual population.

The length required to walk to the room from the elevators, due to a disability I am navigating, there was no room service or restaurant in the accommodations except for a starbucks which closed at 6pm. However, "The Keg" was within walking distance, as well as brew- pub beside it.

Everything! We loved how comfy the beds are, bathroom was awesome with cool lighting. And getting to borrow a crib made staying easy for us with my 11 month old.

I had an outlet issue so had to move coffee pot to bathroom, bathroom door was loud when it opened and closed, and also we would have loved a microwave. We had food we wanted to eat and unfortunately it went to the garbage because we couldn’t reheat. Location was interesting, as soon as we got out of the car 2 kind gentlemen let me know to make sure I don’t leave anything in the car overnight. I was a little taken back, but grateful for their kindness. Also not super huge fan on the front entrance at all with family it makes loading and unloading a huge task that is a lot considering I am alone with my kids this time.

The pool was great! My room was super clean and the staff were very friendly! The Starbucks downstairs was a huge bonus!

The location really sucks. In the parkade someone had their window smashed out (in the Ramada parking stall) poor guy had no clue what to do as he was trying to pick out what was left of his back window, and another gentleman had his tonneau cover ripped open. Lots of homeless around the area. I don’t recommend staying here if you have to bring your own vehicle. Also wish the hot tub was a tad hotter with working jets. Just felt like a big bath tub

We loved the shower was better then we where expecting! The location was great we could walk to the Keg and the brewery. Everything was very clean and within walking distance. It was the perfect location for our weekend away from the kids.

We didnt like that there was no oven to use. we should have read the description better prior to booking. The bed was too soft for our liking but we love a firm bed. I wish the front desk would have told us that you needed to use a room key to get the elevator to move, thankfully another guest helped us out.
