The young lady at the front desk when we checked in was super nice and helpful, as was the gentleman when we checked out. We had an issue with a low battery in a smoke detector, and housekeeping took care of it right away. We had clean towels brought every day, and the bedding was clean. The King bed was huge and comfortable, not so much could be said for the pillows, but I always bring our own anyway. The room we had was spacious and had a mini fridge and microwave. No coffee maker, but I take my own small one with me, so that was no biggie. The location works great for us, although getting in and out on the very busy road in front is a nail-biter. Another entrance would be wonderful. We stay here once a year or so, whenever we go to Chicago, and it works for us. We like that they are one of the few places that still have smoking rooms.

Carpets need to either be deep cleaned or replaced with laminate flooring, make sure you have socks or slippers because you won't want to be walking around barefoot on it. That's really the only cleanliness issue we have with the place, so we just bring slippers. It really isn't that big of a deal when considering the cost and convenience.

We did not get up for breakfast. Out late night before. Room was large and quiet and clean.

Bathroom sink water didnt turn off. No plug for bathtub so couldn’t take calming bath before bed. Cell phones could not be plugged in fully. Kept falling out of outlet. There was a loud argument in the parking lot outside our room. No one called police and we were frightened.

Good location, staff was nice, beds were clean and comfortable

Rates were a little high for what you get. Used to stay here once or twice a year, rates were much lower, almost half, last time. No upgrades or renovations that I could see that would have caused a jump in price except that they did appear to have painted the walls and they have added a continental breakfast. Bathtub drained slow and the finish was coming off the bottom. Nothing really major, just seems pricey for what you get

I was in the US for 21 days travelling to multiple cities and staying 2/3 nights at each. This was my favourite stay, the room was like a small apartment. Due to Covid restrictions not all services/facilities were available and check in was a bit impersonal although it was quick and efficient. The room had a massive bed, a small kitchen with microwave and fridge freezer, desk and armchair. It's very close to the airport and a short drive to the local shops. Unfortunately for me the weather was bad so I wasn't able to explore the area but I enjoyed the luxury of the room. Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable, I would recommend it to anyone that needs to stay near the airport. I had a rental car as downtown Chicago is about 30 miles away. I could have stayed a week or more as I felt right at home. 5 Stars. Quiet, parking right outside and everything you need for a comfortable, stress free stay.

No negatives at all apart from the rain but that's not the hotels fault.
