Staff are so helpful. They asked if we had anywhere booked for dinner and the concierge found and booked us a table in excellent restaurants both nights. Bed was really comfortable, love the pillows! Good location right on the main square and parking nearby

Bathroom is terrible. Toilet smells and feels like you are in a cupboard in the bedroom as your partner can hear everything you do! Shower over bath was small, old and made terrible noise - they need to just rip it out and put a walk in version

The hotel is located in town and has optional underground secure parking. The family suite is a two bedroom apartment which was spacious and convenient when travelling as a family. The hotel breakfast is very good and fairly priced. The restaurant does not have a restaurant but there are plenty of options within a few minutes walking distance. Staff were very friendly and professional.

The family suite is accessed through two spiral flights of steps, so bear that it mind for accessibility and getting heavy suitcases to the room. The airconditioning made some loud sudden noises.

The hotel is located on the main square in the center of the city. Even though it was just a one night stay as a break for the cross-country drive, everything we needed was within walking distance. My 10-years old boy stayed in a totally separate single-bed room with his own toilet and bathroom adjoining our double bed room with the same facilities.. So we had plenty of bathrooms and beds to use! Brunch on Sunday morning was a delight. We chose the formula with a small bottle of champagne, which was very appropriate for the Champagne region!

The switch for the bathroom in room 114 was located on the door frame. It took me about 15 minutes to find it. I've never seen a switch on the door frame. Once I found it, it was no problem.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which is accessible up two flights of stairs in a building off the courtyard at the rear. it's probably fair to say that the standard of accommodation here was probably not as high as in the rest of the hotel. the rooms were getting a bit shabby and the doors didn't close properly. Having said that the facilities were good and the whole place was very comfortable.

There was beer festival going on during our stay (late May), in the market square right outside the front door. Obviously, nothing could have been better.

We stayed in an apartment so it was completely self-contained which was great. We had our own kitchen and sitting room and having a bath was a bonus after a few weeks of living on a boat! The hotel is central so really handy for restaurants and is well connected with the railway station nearby.

The air conditioning was a bit noisy. And wine glasses in the kitchen would have been nice, although a tumbler of wine went down well!

We knew Châlons-en-Champagne was a great location for the last stopover on our trip from Spain to the Eurotunnel, and Le Renard exceeded our expectations. It is a hotel with personality with comfortable boutique style rooms, atmospheric bar (recommend the sharing cheese and ham platter), being dog friendly with 3 parks nearby and very friendly English speaking staff. We parked in their secure car park for just €10.

We hoped to use the spa but didn’t realise it has to be booked in advance. We were unlucky as someone got there before us.

Arrived late but found pre booked EV parking space had been clearly reserved so was able to park and plug in without delay. Allocated large recently refurbished room which was tastefully decorated, well equipped and very comfortable. Enjoyed an excellent undisturbed sleep on a very comfortable bed. Paid extra for breakfast which was very pleasant and very good value. All in all a very pleasant stay

Proximity to the town with good choice of eating places although the hotel had a very nice restaurant which we ate in with lovely friendly staff. Room and breakfast were excellent.

Only problem we had was finding our way round to the car park entrance as the road we needed was closed off on a Sunday. We could see it but sat nav was unable to work out how to get to it. We did eventually get to it and parking was perfect and secure.

Perfect location, centre of town in lovely square. Large comfortable room with very comfy bed, friendly helpful staff. Great bar particularly if you like champagne, topped off with delicious board of cheese and charcuterie fully recommend particularly if needing a stop off before or after channel crossing. approx 3 hours from Calais. Plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 min walk.

We only did a stop over in Châlons-en-Champagne on our way to the UK. The hotel has a very good location right in the middle of town. Check in was friendly and the room was nice - we had a three person room with two interconnecting rooms which was ideal for us as we were travelling with our teenage daughter. The building is old but has a lot of charm and the room size appropriate for a town hotel. Overall a pleasant stay but on the expensive side for an overnight stay.
