I liked our family room that I shared with my parents and 2x children. There was plenty of space and the beds were great. The best part was the bathroom. I loved that the although the toilet and bath/shower was in the 1 room, it was great that the toilet was at the end of the bathroom next to a cubed shower and at the front was the sink. I'm a germofobia and hate toilets right next to a bath tub or especially a sink.

There was no elevator to get from ground floor to our room. My parents are elderly and struggled to get up the stairs. My siblings rooms were all far apart but they were comfortable and happy overall.

Well we got upgraded to another room without extra charge as maid didn't do her job properly in other room we were suppose to have.... The manager was so helpful and immediately fixed this problem....he was very polite and friendly.... It's in a great location....close to trains shops fields..... It's an old hotel but it's quite nice.... The rooms had everything we needed.....the beds are extremely comfortable....bathroom was clean....

The random cars pulling in all hours of the night, was sitting with my friend and some random dudes pulled up in a car and tried to get her to go with them was really odd. Not to mention the "red light" shining out the door on the bottom floor

Great to see the rooms are getting a freshen up. I always stay here when I stop overnight in Goulburn. Great position as it’s close to supermarkets and restaurants.

Need to have crockery and cutlery in double rooms.

Good sized room, comfortable bed, good location. Good shower with large rose and plentiful hot water but shower curtain too short.

I booked this room on Booking.com because it said entire unit is on ground floor which I needed because of a bad knee. When we arrived they said our room was on the 3rd floor up 2 flights of stairs. They said we could only have a ground floor unit if we paid an extra $20. Shower curtain was too short so floor got all wet and there was nowhere in shower to put shampoo, conditioner, razor etc - needs shower caddy or shelf. There was a wardrobe in the room that was modern and didn't fit with the heritage decor.

Location & accessibility very good. No noise. Room was adequate for what we needed which was an uninterrupted, comfortable sleep. Bathroom facilities clean and functional.

These surveys are inadequate as they come from a one size fits all perspective. There is no latitude to express what your requirements were and if they were met except in a general sense. We were not looking for an 'out of this world' stay, simply comfort & a good night's sleep and we got those. End of story.

that all 4 beds were in the same room but thtas just because were not used to that. The old building had a lot of creaks and you could hear everyone moving around.

as usual meets all expectations.im fairly loyal as i always stay here if available.EXCELLENT LOCATION it is very close to the shops and railway station and sevral restuarants,plenty of off street parking,quiet hotel.recommended to all thse wishing tostay 1,2 or even more nights in goulburn

Just need to replace shower rail due to rust and floor boards to be cleaned where it doesnt meet the wall

Exceeded expectations. My expectations were low because of all the negative reviews. But the linen was clean. The shower worked. And the few cobwebs I can live with
