We booked a family room online with booking.com. A few minutes after confirming the booking, we received a call to say that the last family room had been taken just seconds earlier. The receptionist upgraded us to a premium room plus a separate twin room at no extra cost. The room was beyond what we expected for the price. Location was excellent - close to the Palace, close to restaurants, it was a wonderful bonus experience.

There is no parking at the hotel as such - it's street parking which is free overnight, but paid during the day. This was not a problem and to be expected in that area.

My second stay here, 2 nights this time, to explore wonderful Versailles, which is so much more than just the Palace. Great room, facing a quiet street, fabulous location in St Louis Quarter, less than 10min walk to the Chateau, 15min walk to Notre-Dame Quarter. Very comfy room, wonderful inner gardens to chill, great service. Water in the room, tea making facilities. Would happily stay here again.

Synthetic hot duvet. No aircon, only a fan, I would struggle to stay here in temperature over 25c. I slept with all the windows opened. Bathroom dated, but super clean.

The location was fantastic! The staff was very nice! The back courtyard was quaint and attractive. Our room was cute and clean. Very enjoyable and safe stay for my wife while I was at work.

There are a lot of steps to get to some of the rooms, but that is to be expected in France. Also, there is no air conditioning. The windows open and it was not hot during our visit.

The hotel is in the best location for the Palace of Versailles. It’s SO close!!! Also close for restaurants, bars and a supermarket. Breakfast has everything you could want and more. There’s a pancake making machine that my daughter loved. In spite of being so close to restaurants and bars, the room was quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were of beautiful quality. All of the people that work at the hotel are just so friendly and helpful. I will be returning with my husband next time. This hotel is excellent value for money. Travel tip. Buy a duo anual passport for the palace. 30% off vehicle hire, bike hire & book some tours to direct with the palace website. Book everything in advance. This passport also gives you discount in cafes, restaurants & gift shops within the palace. We had three days and the discounts paid for the passport! Excellent value for money!

I can’t think of anything that could have improve our stay. A small piece of advice, the hit water is very hot, mix with cold on the mixer tap.

5 minute walk to Versailles Palace! Nice restaurants around. Beautiful street and building. Lovely personal/family-run feel to the place. Very clean, if a little worn around the edges. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. In some ways like staying in someone’s home (in the least intrusive; best possible way). Very nice and comfortable good quality bed and shower. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever seen offered, and in a lovely cosy setting, with very nutritious good food that caters for a range of tastes. Fresh fruit and nuts, yoghurts, cereals, croissants, pain au chocolate, cold meats for those that wants etc. A pancake machine! Truly excellent coffee.

Only very minor things. The lift is designed in such a way that you need to hold the button all the way to your floor, which was a bit unusual but kind of entertaining. The shower was in the room and just a frosted glass door so a bit tricky unless you’re a couple sharing the room. Only one small-ish towel apiece provided for two guests, but some of us like one for our hair! Sink was really narrow and shallow so difficult to wash your face in without splashing water on the floor. Decor was a little outdated but charming in a way and ok for a 3-star hotel. The building itself is very charming and you can’t beat the location.

The location of this hotel is excellent if you are visiting the Palace of Versailles. It is also close to many restaurants, so your food choices are great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let my family store our bags while we visited the Palace after our stay.

For four people, the room was a little small. The bed and the sofa bed took up most of the floor space. Also, the shower in our room was open to the rest of the bathroom, so when you took a shower, most of the bathroom got soaked. The only other thing I did not care for was a cultural thing. The hotel has no air conditioning, so you must keep the windows open to keep the room cool at night. This was a little unnerving since our room was on the ground floor, and we were unfamiliar with the town of Versailles. Essentially, anyone could crawl through your window while you sleep, so we ended up closing the windows when we went to bed and just dealt with the heat.

Location is perfect to the château. Facility is of high quality, especially the rond table for working and talking in the evening. The waiters are very nice and polite. And their absecens is very nice to give you more free space when using the first floor(niveau 0 in french). I propose this hotel for fun and for familly party near The château. I have a good experience over night, surprisingly quite , Even so close to a music school. A good hotel.

Good location, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Tanya was especially helpful and friendly, which enhanced our stay. Stored our luggage, booked our Palace tickets. Good property. We stayed in a superior room.

Suggest replacing hallway carpets, which looked old and worn.

Very spacious room compared to similar hotels in the region in that price range. Everything was OK. If I have business meetings there, I would chose the same hotel

Breakfast could be a bit more continental but this is really not worth worrying about

Location, the courtyard, the lounge downstairs, helpful staff. Restaurant recommendations sent to us before arrival, were very welcome, because we were a party of six , and very helpful for our planning.

A little underwhelmed by the breakfast choices, but a comfortable room. Tea & coffee also disappointing at breakfast. Best to take a teabag and ask for hot water if you like strong tea.
