This was a convenient place for us to stay as we traveled down the Big River Road. The room was quiet and comfortable and there were gas stations, restaurants, etc., very near.

As with most hotel breakfasts, it was all carbs and so not a very good start to my day (I need protein in the morning). We passed up breakfast and went elsewhere to eat. My husband was disappointed that there were working windows but when he opened one, he got a call from the front desk asking him to shut it. My husband has some breathing issues when buildings are closed off from fresh air and so he was not as comfortable as he might have been.

manager was very helpful, and location is very good, right next to local bus-stop - town is very historic, good walking, good architecture, good restaurants, friendly people - manager of hotel has won cricket awards and is very engaging

breakfast could have been more abundant - but I understand that food is expensive - I would have liked just plain cereal, for example corn flakes, but they offered high-sugar cereal -- too much sugar - they could also offer oatmeal

We were impressed by how comfortable the beds were and the amenities in the room. Also, they have a very nice complimentary breakfast. We had to extend our stay and the price was affordable to do so. The overall experience exceeded my expectation based off of the cost of the hotel. We will definitely be back.

The only concern we had was the sheets on the bed. The sheets were clean but some were stained. They should probably invest in some new sheets. We received new sheets that were better.

The location was easy to locate but on a hill which was a bit strange. The young woman at the desk was friendly but she kept disppearing in the morning. I left my key card but did not get a receipt. No problem, but it appeared that she had too much to do. The room was basic but the mattress was excellent.

There were stairs. . .just 8 . . .so no rooms on one level. I am old and have bad knees which make stairs difficult.

The room was nice, the staff was friendly and attentive too. I loved that the hotel is very close to the lakes and the sugar bluff hiking trail. Nice and quiet, close to nature. Other services are very close too.

The room had a funny smell, not too overwhelming,but you could sense it every time you went into the room. I wish they also had complementary water bottles too.

Clean, convenient, coffee 24 hours, quick breakfast, microwave and frig in the room. Right next to the hike up Sugarloaf Bluff for a great view of lake Winona and a very short walk to a wonderful park. Gave me a late check out since I was doing the Tirona triathlon

Chair and one bedspread had a stain.

I liked having a room on the third floor and being able to see my car..

The lighting in the room. There is no overhead light which makes it hard to ser upon entering the room.

The family who operates this Super 8 are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, they are so kind and caring. The cleaning staff is FANTASTIC!!

Location easy to find and convenient to event.

It clearly still in renovation phase; carpet in my room stained and needs replacing. Owners very responsive to resolving concerns for my friend’s room had a bad fridge- switched in a new one that day. Need taller toilet for elderly adult in my room.

We enjoyed the breakfast. I enjoyed the waffle! Thank You We enjoyed shopping the local stores in the area. The runabout will be a nice addition to the area once completed.

Musty smell in unit. Needs dehumidifier or damprid would help. Unit above us has noisey exhaust fan. Floor made creek sound when they were walking around. Front door has light showing in around from hallway allowing noise into room. Tenant dogs from across the hall at 12:00 am . Everything in unit worked. Safety device's in place.
