The physical facility was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Parking was convenient. The beds were comfortable. The toilet accommodations' were very good. The pub was an added amenity. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Inn.

We didn't receive any housekeeping services during our 4 day stay. The trash cans were never emptied, towels were never replaced. It appeared that no staff entered our room 209 for the duration of time at AmericInn. Perhaps there was a signal for housekeeping staff to address these issues, such as a card on the outside doorknob. If this was the case we were not aware of it and it should have been made more clear.

Initially was disappointed with location because we had hoped to be closer to downtown, but when we discovered we could take the scenic river road to downtown, felt better. Clean, well staffed, nice that you've added a pub, even though we didn't use it - it's a nice amenity. Breakfast bar was well stocked and refreshed frequently.

Still wish it were closer to downtown and had a better/more scenic view. But location was actually convenient, even though not particularly picturesque. Would be nice to have an ATM at the hotel.

Overall, we were happy with our room. It was spacious and quiet. The bed was very large so that was also nice, and we were pleased to see a large closet and a mini fridge. The bathroom was also fine - I liked the large walk-in shower.

There was dust on the bathroom vanity shelf where towels were placed, and there were some indications that the room wasn't carefully cleaned. It didn't bother me too much, but for the price point, I found this not acceptable. We also did not like the part of town it's in. While the hotel is a very short drive from the downtown, the immediate area is a bit remote and you need a car to access any amenities.

The bed and linens were fantastic. Air conditioning also was working great.

Found three very different hairs (not ours) in the bathroom. Looked like they come from three different people. Water pressure could have been better. Front desk girl kept giving us new keys to get into our room. But none of them worked. Then came down to open it with an actual key. Breakfast was great but could have been warmer. Had to use microwave which is OK with me. It was clean.

Rooms clean

The air freshener was so strong, it smelled like a grandpas old aftershave. Very strong, but the most disappointing was paying $310.00 for one night to visit our daughter at college on family weekend. We couldn't get the 20% discount because we went through booking.com. still would have been pretty expensive but next time I will not go through booking.com. That was an insane amount of money to pay for one night!

Clean room.

The eggs were fake. A scrambled powered version. There was no selection for adult cereal. You need adult cereal like Kellogs Raisin Bran. There was no fruit as a topping for your cereal, i.e. banana. There was no whole wheat bread. Too many options geared to kids. You need to mix it up.

Becca was amazing, there were problems with our online reservation and she went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, quiet and very nice. Fun to know they even had a little pub onsite. Wish we had time to use the pool and hot tub. We will definitely stay again!

We've been to a few Wyndham hotels lately, and this was by far the best, albeit at a considerably higher price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food and beverage selections.

The price was a little high, but with no other faults found, it was worth it.

It is a newer property and they have kept it very clean. We checked in around 10:00 PM and the girl at the counter was awesome, very helpful.

The beds were a little hard for my liking. But that was about the only thing I didn’t care for.

Nothing remarkable, but quite satisfactory. A little ways from the city center, but that made it quiet. The rate seems high, but it seems to be the going rate in Winona.
