The property was absolutely beautiful. Located in a lovely village with beautiful views, lovely local pub filled with friendly people. The cottage had all the facilities and amenities you could possible wish for. It was beautifully clean, the beds were incredibly comfy, kitchen was fully stocked with plates and cups / cooking utensils. The host was incredibly kind by messaging prior to the stay, and nothing seemed too much to ask for. Would 100% recommend!

Parking can sometimes be difficult to get right outside the cottage so taking bags in may be difficult as up a slight hill. However, for the location you can’t complain!

Just returned from a weekend at this fab little cottage, in the wonderful Finchingfield. Access is straight forward, using the key safe, and as you enter you are welcomed by a clean, warm ,well designed home.Parking out front was no problem too find either.Shaun, the owner, had messaged me prior to our day of arrival, with some additional information and to make sure I was happy about the check in, which was considerate. Basics were all there, from towels to tea and coffee, and as I was the first to arrive, I sat with a hot drink and watched the world go by in the village. The Lion pub is a friendly place, with a great log burner, very tasty Pizzas, and we found the locals chatty.There were dogs too, who wanted to say hello - happy days. It was nice coming back to a warm cottage ( the thermostat was very easy to adjust ) and a little bit of tele before bed.On that matter, the beds were very comfy, and we slept soundly. Winners tearooms , just across the bridge, do a very tasty breakfast, and the home made cakes looked really good too. So, if you fancy a a little piece of old world charm, with all the mod cons, give this place a try, you won't regret it.In fact , 2 of our party have just booked to return in August.

Disappointed in Finchingfield . Unfortunately weather was not good but nowhere to potter around in. Only teashop closed. We had not wanted to drive out but to wander around the village

A couple of text messages from the hosts confirming the key collection info and welcoming us was a great touch.

The booking.com auto save to my phone calendar lists a completely different address in Southampton. Luckily I noticed the direction not looking quite right on the sat nav before setting off. That could’ve been disastrous!

The property was beautiful in an equally beautiful village. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beds were all super comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners were extremely helpful. Would definitely book again.

The location of this property was outstanding, to sit and have breakfast and look out of the window to such a beautiful view was something we will remember.

Even though we understand the nature of the house the stairs are risky in the middle of the night when nature calls. Would also be nice to have the simplest of clothes lines. A strand of something or other around the side ??

Lovely quaint cottage in a beautiful village setting. The fixtures and fittings are modern and well cared for. Comfortable beds and a great shower room. Nice outdoor areas and a great view of the pond and village green. The cottage is just yards from the pubs, church and village shop, so very convenient. We would certainly come back again. Thanks😊

Millie's Cottage was just absolutely beautiful, We fell in love straight away. What a beautiful little cottage. The Cottage had everything you needed, including the extras some places may not have i.e washing up liquid, toilet roll, towels, Tea bags, sugar, coffee etc. Guests also left us a welcome basket with some jams, cereals etc. Very nice touch :) Loved our stay.

Only negative is the property does not have parking, and some days it was a little hard to find a space close by, but still only a few minutes walk away.
