James was a fantastic host who really takes a huge amount of pride in his bed and breakfast. We had a lovely chat in the morning before our departure where James told us the history of the barn and how he had renovated the property which was very interesting to hear. The room was spotless and everything was very well thought out. We were surprised to hear that the business had been running for 12 years because it was so well maintained. Breakfast was delivered to our room at a time of our choice in the morning and consisted of freshly baked pastries, cereals, fruit, fresh orange juice and great coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed for two nights as we had a wedding a few miles down the road. James and Beverley are splendid hosts, and I must say the photos online do not do the rooms justice. From our welcome until our farewell we were made to feel like long lost friends. The use of the large communal kitchen allowed us to chill a few beers and a bottle of wine in the fridge so we could watch the stars after we got back from dinner, cushions already laid out for us! The room itself was marvelous, from the giant bed to the "rain type" shower it was almost more comfortable than our own home. The warm pastries in the morning tasted all the better as we ate them in soft complimentary bathrobes. If we are back in the area again, or even if we just want a night away, this is where we will stay.

The Suites are in the most idyllic location, have amazing views and noting at all is too much trouble for the lovely hosts James & Beverley (we only met James as Beverley was away) Felt like we were the first people to ever stay in our suite the attention to detail was faultless. The accommodation looks amazing and everything about it is exceptional, one of the best places in fact the best place we’ve stayed in for Bed & Breakfast.

Absolutely nothing, you’d find it hard to find anything not to like about The Suites.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. In the country and in peaceful surroundings. Fabulously comfortable bed, good room size and natural light, very nice bathroom. Quality everything from linen to in-room facilities. Fresh fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal and yoghurt..plus a further delicious breakfast served to the room at a time of our choosing. We had easy access to a shared modern kitchen had we wanted to self cater. The professional and discreet attention to detail by Beverley and James is probably the best we have ever experienced.

Oohhh...absolutely nothing!

Everything. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly - James even carried our bags. We were shown around & given lots of information. James knew we’d be home late & closed the blinds & put on a light for us. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal and an excellent choice of tea & coffee. The room is very comfortable with a large comfy bed & a lovely shower. If we visit the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to re-book.

Th interior and exterior of the property is lovely. Well presented, well sign posted. The room was huge and everything well thought out. James was great at accommodating us and anything we needed, nothing too much and well communicated. Loved breakfast in bed type set up. Great location for Hedingham Castle where we attended a wedding. We stayed in Suite 1 and the view was beautiful over the gardens and beyond. We would love to come back

We didn’t have enough time there, we would have loved to spent more time there. The high vaulted ceilings, beams, suspended lights and large floor to ceiling window are a bit of a haven for spider webs which there were quite a lot. It doesn’t bother us too much however, as we are used to them living in the countryside!

Everything. Beverley & James are there to welcome you in and are always a phone call or message away. This is our third time staying here and on each stay we are always showed around the room and asked what time we would like breakfast. The room/ bathroom is always clean and the fridge/ counter too is stocked with everything we need. This time round I had forgotten to mention my Oat milk request & Beverley had kindly referred to her previous notes and stocked up for me on arrival. We plan on staying again and making use of the hot tub facilities as on the three stays it’s been for weddings. We’ve recommend them to all our friends and if you are attending a wedding we can’t recommend Pete at C&L cars enough!

Nothing! We love it there.

The accommodation is spotless, so comfortable spacious and airy. The location is peaceful with walks on the doorstep and many lovely places to visit within easy reach by car. We stayed in the gable ended room and the views are so relaxing. We enjoyed a perfect breakfast of warm pastries, toast, yoghurt, and cereal. Warm pastries bought to our room at the time we requested. A bowl of fruit was also a lovely touch. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with fresh milk in fridge with water and fresh orange juice. Dressing gowns, slippers, lovely bathroom toiletries, individually wrapped eye masks provided, good hairdryer and lovely quiet fan provided; truly a 5* experience! Can not recommend a stay at the Pannels enough, so glad we have found this special place. Beverly and James are such lovely people who are exceptional hosts. We will be back for another stay. Thank you for a lovely break.

There is nothing not to like!

Everything about our stay at The Suites was wonderful. We had a brilliant welcome from Bev - who is an incredible host - thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each morning and made the most of staying in our comfortable, clean room. We had all the amenities we could want, and access to the peaceful countryside around us. We would definitely stay again should we need to return to the area (we were attending a wedding nearby).

We received a very warm welcome from James and Beverley, along with George, their chocolate lab. The suites are furnished to a very high standard. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea coffee. We were made to feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. Great communication to make your stay literally perfect. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Perfect get away location. We hired the hot tub and relaxing in such a beautiful setting was amazing. We can not wait to return. Thank you so much James Beverley and of course George
