Amazing location and views

Disappointed there was not food. It wasn’t a problem as there are lots of lovely places locally, but it was a bit misleading. Booking.com listing states breakfast is served daily and their website says there is an a la carte restaurant. When asked I was told they could do some food if asked the day before, but there was no evidence of any food. There is so much potential for this venue so it’s a shame there wasn’t any food or drink available. WiFi was also not good at all - in apartment it was only really available when sitting right next to the router! The apartment was tired with some easy improvements eg master bedroom door doesn’t easily shut, mattresses are hard, clothes line kept falling off.

Super quiet and beautiful, instant access to sea, away from the crowds. View is amazing Staff is super friendly. Cleaning every day. Sand beach 5min away by foot.

A rent a car is a must unless you plan not to move out at all. We didn't try the breakfast, as it is a bit costly, and we could get whatever we needed from out and store it in the apartment. The other thing surprised me: the double bed is a 140cm wide. We were a bit tight. All this was totally insignificant compared to all the good points of this place. We will definitely come back 🫶

A hidden gem, very quiet well taken care place, had we known the quality of stay we would heve reserved it for much longer. Perfect location to use as a base for visiting surrounding areas of interest. The most amazing sun rises - we did not miss a single one for the time we stayed at the Villa. Very friendly staff - we were even treated with the most amazing apple desert left in our fridge!

Such a beautiful, peaceful location. With direct access to the sea and amazing views. We loved our stay here. We (family of 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, which was cleaned daily. The villa was comfortable and nice and quiet. The milk/water/fruit in the fridge on arrival was lovely and welcome - and so was the gorgeous cake left for us in the middle of our stay. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is kept so clean. We will definitely stay at Vangelis Villas again!

Small development, nice apartments and villa with lovely, well kept gardens and pool with the added extra of the sea. Cleaned every day, towels and sheets changed during the stay. Staff friendly and accommodating. Nice clean well furnished property, well equipped kitchen. Around 15 minutes by car to main town, beach bars and cafe 5 minutes away.

Super peaceful location with its own private access to sea as well as a pool with loungers and parasols. Private balconies and terraces with outlook over the sea. All was well maintained. Plenty of restaurants and further beaches within a few minutes drive. Also supermarkets nearby. A great base from which to explore northeast Crete!

The help that Vasilis, the manager, gave us was exceptional. He arranged a transfer from the airport, met us personally when we arrived late at night, answered lots and lots of queries on how and what to do, cooked us dinner, despite no other guests wishing to eat. He could not have been more helpful. The view from out balcony was wonderful, especially when it was in the sun in the morning (although maybe this would be ver hot in the summer). It is a beautiful place.

The taverna was not open for lunch and you are a long way from the supermarket. We hired a car and therefore it was fine, but there is not much to do within walking distance and the buses did not seem to be very frequent.

Our stay at Vangellis Villas far exceeded our expectations. The photo’s on Booking don’t do justice to this beautiful location. The hospitality of the hosts is fantastic and we recommend booking including breakfast which both hosts prepare deliciously.

Beautiful location with comfortable, well equipped apartments. The swimming pool is great and also the private beach area with direct access to the sea. Very hospitable hosts who made us feel very welcome.

Location was great. Away from Agios Nicholas. Great access to sea without massive public access.

Lower level rooms are not like the majority of pictures in ad.
