Lovely hotel, great location, friendly welcoming staff. Parking space reserved, dog bowls, bed and suprise bag in room. Lovely breakfast. Great bath and shower in room, luxury bedding and super bed.

Although mostly positive and great for dogs, little harder to get rid of dog bag as no external bins?! Bath robes, little tired, otherwise all very good. We also had an afternoon tea and although this was very good and the staff were accommodating, I am a vegetarian not vegan and the afternoon tea was for a vegan. Therfore I had to ask for the scones and clotted cream etc and had different cakes to the normal afternoon tea, although that was suitable for vegetarians. Worth just checking in future if someone is vegan or vegetarian, usually if someone is vegetarian and not vegan its because they can't give up the dairy!!

The staff were great, the hotel is very grand and impressive, the room was extremely well appointed and comfortable (Robert Gaunt room) and the food for dinner was excellent. Our dog (£25 extra fee) was also very well looked after with a nice bed and treats awaiting him in the room. We had dinner in the bar as we had our dog with us (not allowed in the bistro) but it was very pleasant in there anyway.

Being charged £4.75 for a bottle of tap water at dinner - only spotted that on the bill after we'd left! I also think its excessive to charge £15 to park at the hotel when there were plenty of spaces available. It could have been free given how much everying else costs at the hotel.

Nice comfortable room, great bath & shower, beautiful views over the park after Victoria produced magic and got us a park-facing room (Thank you again, Victoria!). Meals were good and the service was very pleasant.

Lighting in the rooms was gloomy and terrible! Also no outlet on one side of the bed for a charger etc without unplugging the bedside light. Breakfast pricing was awkward; there should be some a la carte options (if I just want yogurt, fruit & coffee it should not cost £20, especially for boring tinned fruit salad). I had a feeling we were overcharged at breakfast, not through any intent but through lack of clarity.

Great location to the town but far enough from the town so it was quiet at night. Our room backed onto a park and we woke up to alot of lovely birds singing. Great quality shower gels and shampoos. Food at the restaurant was fantastic- great portions and thank you very much to Patricia for being such a lovely restaurant host. The bar was very nice with a great happy hour deal - thank you Sam for making us some lovely drinks. Check in and out was very smooth and a lovely lady called Victoria handled our booking. Although Parking is limited at the hotel, the parking at the multi storey a short walk away was extremely reasonable for a 24 hour stay. Our first time staying at this hotel branch and it was fantastic.

Cant say that there was anything I disliked

A true gem, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The rooms provide comfort and luxury, and the stunning bathroom stands out! It's an ideal place for couples seeking a romantic escape. It’s also very central and perfect to grab a bite at the Pantilles! For those traveling by car, we discovered a convenient option just minutes away from the hotel – a public car park that offers excellent value at just £7 for a full day's stay, provided you don't need to move your vehicle. This was a perfect alternative when the hotel's own parking facilities were at capacity.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The number of emails and messages asking if we wanted to upgrade the room were tiring and really put me off - I got 5 messages/emails and 1 phone call in 10 days!!

Excellent, classy hotel. Although quite central in Tunbridge Wells, quietly located, with lots of nature around. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner facilities. Parking is a bit of a challenge due to the limited amount of space, but manageable. Beds are really good. Can't quite understand why there was a bathtub in the middle of the room! Nice for couples maybe, but not so handy when you're with the family. Separate shower (without a door!) available as well though. All in all a very nice hotel for a stay in Kent.

Not that much to say. What we noticed is that there seemed to be quite a few new staff-members. Making service maybe a bit clumsy here and there, but that was more than overcompensated by their willingness and friendliness. so no complaints there either.

Loved the Victorian villa feel to the hotel. Spacious bedroom, good WiFi, good television reception. Excellent food. Helpful and accommodating staff. My friends held a celebration there. The spread was plentiful and delicious.

Billing was a bit of a problem. Parking fee was given as £10 on booking website, but actually £15 per night. On arrival I was told I had not paid - when my bank account said I had. On arrival I paid my extras, only to find in the morning that I was being mis-charged for one item and an additional payment was required as only half the additional payment was taken the night before. The morning receptionist did resolve the problem relatively easily but it was a bit of a hassle.

The restaurant and the Food were exceptional, especially the breakfast and Sunday roast dinner. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are pretty. Really close to the town centre and the high street. The facilities were modern and the room and bed comfortable.

The cosy room in the annex is not suitable for anyone who has difficulties with stairs. The bathroom is down a flight of stairs in the room. I was not happy with this room being out of the main building either. When I explained it was not suitable for my needs I was allocated another room, so we had a fantastic stay in the end

We were greeted by the lovely Holly who made us feel, right from the start, welcome and 'special' and continued to be wonderful throughout our stay. My 65th Birthday returning to my place of birth where I had not returned for 64 and a half years.....we were kindly upgraded. All the staff were so very polite, kind and welcoming. (Louis, Stoyah and Frankie) The room was beautiful with nice furnishings and a great bathroom. Our view, overlooking Calverley Park was so lovely (especially as I was born in Calverley Park Nursing Home!!) Breakfast was good with some great quality products and a good cooked vegan breakfast too. Our meal on the second night was excellent and the snacks etc that we had throughout our stay of a really good quality.

Would have appreciated some dairy free choices for Country Table Breakfast and evening meal desserts and maybe a couple of vegetarian/vegan options on the Bar Menu (although great that there is a Vegan Afternoon Tea!!)

All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful throughout our two night stay. Nicky was particularly adept at remembering our food and drinks orders in the bar for a party of six. The rooms were well appointed, and comfortable. We didn't dine in, but the breakfast selection was very good.

Our only problem was that someone had parked in one of our reserved spaces when we returned in the afternoon. This was resolved satisfactorily by the duty receptionist.
