Restaurant was overpriced and not worth it. Head into town. $22 for 3 small microwave potato truffles with tomato sauce! 😂

Food was excellent. Pool was lovely on a hot afternoon. Bed was extremely comfortable.

We were looking for a quick, early dinner at 6pm but they said the restaurant was booked out, however I don't think they had bookings till 7pm. We mentioned that we wanted a very quick meal, they suggested that we could eat from the restricted bar menu, which we did. We did leave before the bookings came into the restaurant, so we were a bit disappointed that they didn't try to accommodate us or even offer us the full menu in the bar area. However, the food was excellent. I can only suggest that maybe a little bit of flexibility could have occurred in this matter.

The location was awesome, not far from the main town, beach views, lovely and clean room, lots of space. Great variety of tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Staff downstairs were really nice and accommodating, especially Han.

I dont like it when hotels dont have a swipe card to use the elevator. Whilst it is probably safe in Kaikoura, I just think its a big security no no when anyone can walk into a elevator and go to any level. Nice and easy without but id rather have the security of it having it than not. Only downfall, so overall very good stay.

Great location and view from the room (sea view King Room). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The hotel bar area was great with lots of comfy seating options. The bar staff were really good and the drinks options were excellent. Didn't use the gym or pool but both looked good.

Would have been good to have a la carte breakfast options before 10am. Also the Alexa speaker in the room doesn't work without an Amazon account, so the only music available was elevator music. It would be good to have a Bluetooth speaker in the room to be able to play spotify.

A really fantastic hotel. It was clean and modern, and a great views from the window, even from our room which was over the car park! The bed was particularly comfortable, and we enjoyed having a chromecast TV and AC. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though we didn't make use of it, the room service also looked great! It had a very comfortable and relaxed feel, and it was fairly reasonably priced. It was also perfectly placed next to the dolphin encounter place, which we didn't realise when booking but were planning to go to! It had a nice feeling of being higher end and relaxing but not too pretentious.

Not much! The room could have benefitted from a bedside lamp and an additional mirror in the room but otherwise it was pretty faultless

We had a room on the top floor,,with a balcony,,awesome view of the snowy mountains.. The bed was OUTSTANDING,the Best I've slept on!!,,,and being in my 60's,,that's a lot! Had to leave early the next morning,and I forgot to enquire about the brand of bed.Any info would be great,Han.

The TV wouldn't accept Chromecast in our room,,but a walk along the beach at sunset more than made up for it.

I LOVED that there was music on when I arrived in my room. I LOVED that I could look out to the ocean while relaxing over breakfast. I LOVED the bright friendly welcome from the Concierge/Reception on the day I arrived. I loved that I found a Niue connection on your staff. I WILL be back!!!

Shower curtain base needed a soak! Disappointed with the fettuccine meal I had been looking forward to since before I arrived. Bland and plain 😢..requested lemon/lime and ground pepper but still disappointed.

Hotel and location fabulous. Nice to stay in a good quality accommodation, great location and to enjoy sitting looking out over the water. Despite our reservations about a big multi story hotel in kaikoura, we have been pleasantly surprised. A real asset. Love the use of te reo Maori

We dined at the restaurant, menu and food delicious, the service was way below what you would expect from paying those prices. We think there were a whole bunch of newbies, still you shouldn't put them on the floor unless they have some basic skills eg having water, salt and pepper, having to ask for service and not knowing what was on the menu. This is serving international tourists, who like us are interested in food and wine.

Check in and check out were super fast and easy. Parking was easy on-site and staff were able to accommodate us with our trailer boat as we gave them time to check if they had room. Hotel overall was clean and beautifully set up. The room was exceptional with a beautiful view of the ocean. Room was clean and minimalistic making it perfect to accommodate the family. Love the bathroom facilities and the area to hang your gear at the front door. Plenty of parking around the hotel as well and walking distance to the main street with stores, cafes and restaurants to explore. Straight across the road from the beach and right next door to the dolphin watching centre. A great hotel, we will certainly be back again for another holiday and for longer!

The tv didn't allow us to Chromecast a movie and when we asked for help we've been told to wait until it team resolved this... Obviously it didn't happen that day, so unsure if resolvable. The water pressure in shower was a bit poor Toilet brushes were missing... Not sure what's the logic behind this, but there are situations when they are kinda welcomed
