This is my 2nd review for the same trip as I booked extra nights to fit our itinerary. So a few extra points. Please would future visitors please state what category of room they had booked when they are making there reviews, whether good or bad. It would greatly help future customers decide which room to book. Also all the complaints about the remoteness and cost of transport. This is very clearly apparent! Please do your research. We came here BECAUSE of the beautiful beach and the lack of throngs of tourists. There are also 3 local restaurants directly on the beach very close to the resort so you don’t have to eat at the hotel. 2 of these bars also had mini marts to buy your snacks, soft drinks, beers etc. you will also find they sell big bags of ice to fill your coolbag if needed! There is now also a new minimart at the hotel but this seems to be the most expensive. There are also more bars and restaurants at the small village behind the SAii hotel on the next beach down. You can access this by the concrete road that starts at the end of the beach near Phi Phi holiday resort. It’s a lovely 30 minute stroll or you can jump in a tuk tuk a few metres from the beach end. Only costs 100 baht. Absolutely no need to be isolated! Some of these bars are fabulous. So folks…..enjoy!!

As stated before. Too much mould in bathroom

The beach itself was wonderful, the room was spacious and convenient and the entire area of the resort was very appealing. Pool and bar were great and we had a lot of good times there.

We tried one of the restaurants on the beach and it was not really good. First of all it took a long time for the food to arrive. 2ndly, they had a "Greek salad" that was anything but Greek. it didn't have feta/haloumi cheese or olives it did have chicken, cabbage and other veggies that don't belong in a Greek salad. My spouse does not eat meat and we never thought of mentioning "no chicken" in a Greek salad since it's uncommon to see it anyway.

The beach, the water, the reef on the left of the hotel, great water and coral reef.

A little outdated, needs an upgrade but it was ok, food was good, you have other options on the beach but keep in mind you are 30 min by boat to Ton Sai so you are a little isolated. Ask for a room near the pool, the ones up on the hill are old and there are aggressive monkeys on the balcony.

The location was fantastic

Perhaps our ignorance but didn't realise until we had booked hotel that the only transport is Boat and we arrived too late for the hotel transport at 450 Bhat and had to get a long tail boat at 1500Bhat. But it was an experience. Maybe your resort details should be more clearer and also we stayed in 6 hotels in thailand over the 4 week period and the only only one with up to date photos was Kokotel in Naiyang Beach - all the rest were way old

Good position in quiet area of phi phi Don. Friendly helpful staff. Mountain view room which looked over the resort was comfortable. Able to bird watch from the room . Excellent pizza would stay here again

The last flight of stairs up to the room. They are all different heights which make it difficult to climb. The balcony could do with a brighter light in all the mountain view rooms, the other rooms all had brighter lights. The room was comfortable but could have done with shelves in the wardrobe so you could put your clothes. Effective air conditioning and fridge. Not enough sun beds and the wooden ones could do with a mat as a bit uncomfortable but enjoyed the stay here as nice and peaceful

The location of the resort is amazing and the scenery magical. White soft beach and blue water. Due to the tide, in the morning the sea is very shallow (somedays below your knees) and in the afternoon it is good to swim. The facilities and rooms/bungalows are all hidden in the trees so you cannot really see anything when you are at the beach other than nature! The bar and restaurant are in frond of the beach and have variety of choices, both Thai and European food. A tip would be to watch the sunrise from the beach as it is rising right in frond of the resort. There is massage service and the masseurs were great. The resort provides free sunbeds and towels to chill at the beach daily. Last but very important, the staff was very polite, always there to help you with a big smile! This side of the island is perfect to relax and enjoy amazing scenery. If you want to party you will need to take a taxi and go to the port of the island.

The pool is swallow and small. It is good for kids and adults but don't expect a big space to swim. The service at the bar and restaurant can be a bit slow. Maybe the rhythms are slower because there is no need to be in rush when you are on an exotic island, but you might experience some delays like bringing you the menus or taking your order. As the rooms and bungalows are hidden in the nature you might have some encounters with the animal kingdom :) When it is windy the waves might bring some plastics out on the beach but of course this is not resort's fault. Final remark is that the prices of the activities provided by the resort are higher than if you rented your own taxi boat. Please make your research before you book your activities around.

Great location, right on the beach and a short walk from the pier and restaurants. About a 2km walk to the local village and a boat ride to Tonsai. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast selection was good. All food remained covered from flies which was great.

Room was in need of some repair, nothing major just aesthetics - for example, rust over most of the balcony floor and water damage to the ceiling. Bed very hard. Staff walkie talkies outside of the bedroom was quite loud.

The area was just very beautiful, the beach was one of the best we have seen in Thailand with clear bright water and soft sand. The hotel was very nicely designed. Flower trees everywhere. There is a little forest and a very small lake in the back side of the hotel and our room was facing into this lake and a forest view with huge glass windows. So the view was perfect from the room. You can walk 5 mins on the back side of the hotel where you can see the sunset. So the hotel is all the way from west end of the island to east end, it takes like 10 mins walking :). Staff were very friendly and we happend to be there during 15th 16th April( new years celebrations time in Thailand). It was also very fun to water fight with all guests and hotel staff, dance and enjoy the food together :) Overall, we were very happy there :) you can only arrive this place by a boat from the Phi Phi main harbor. Thanks to this, the area remains very calm and not too many people. There are maybe 5 hotels in total at this area.

They do not accept Maestro card( also no PayPal). Our only visa card was lost the same morning, which we had to block right away. So the payment part was a bit stressful as there was no atm around and Maestro was not accepted. Bear in mind that you can ONLY arrive at this place by a boat from Phi Phi main harbor. And there is only one company who offers ferry and spead boat to this area. It is important to know in case you are thinking of having a walk in the evening in the center of Phi Phi:). You can always rent a private long-tail boat ofcourse :).

Nice clean room and very nice staff. Beautiful, clean beach, but the water is not clear and there are much better beaches/obtions in Phi Phi in my opinion. Really nice breakfast. The resort is very secluded, so there's not much to do. Nice food at the restaurant.

Everything was nice, but just not really value for money, compared to other places we've stayed. The mattress was very hard. The pool was out of order first 24 hours, and we chose is because of the pool. Very expensive minimarket.

Our stay was fantastic, even though we initially faced some difficulty finding a longboat at the main harbor to take us to the northern part of the island. Once we arrived at the hotel, everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and we even received a refreshing welcome drink upon check-in. The room was spotless, the facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. Despite the small hiccup at the beginning, our experience was wonderful, and we would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike! If I had to mention something, it would be the minor challenge of finding a longboat to get to the northern part of the island initially, but that’s more about the journey than the accommodation itself. Once we arrived, everything at the hotel was absolutely perfect!
