The resort was a quaint little haven. Not too big, not too small. The rooms were a little better than expected… a kind of rustic charm… as we wanted to escape the usual luxuries. The beach was super… although navigating the reef/rocks during low tide was a little tricky, but the water was fab. The massages are essential (everyday). A hike up to the viewpoints and down to the town is a must. The food was really good. The cocktails even better. We arrived on Christmas Eve - and surprisingly, the resort put on a magical show - a free Xmas buffet dinner, free cocktails, live entertainment (dancing, singing, fire dancers) and a raffle draw… we actually won twice. Big thank you for going out of your way… it was very special.

Nothing not to like really. However, here are a few suggestions. 1. Perhaps the arrivals and departures from Ton Sai Pier should be on the faster speedboat - especially after a long commute to Phi Phi. Save the long tails for the tours and shuttles only. 2. The long tail day / half day trips could be a little more inspiring - it felt rushed and same, same. 3. Perhaps a pot of perculated coffee at breakfast - instead of having to order from the barista at a charge? 4. Bar staff amazing. The restaurant staff were not… “happy people make a happy place after all”…

Our experience at Koh Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort was exceptional, with polite and respectful staff, delicious food, great bar drinks, and a truly relaxing atmosphere due to its secluded location.

However, on our last day, just after checkout and minutes before departing the island, we were confronted with an alleged bedsheet stain resembling glue, which we did not cause. Despite our explanations, we were compelled to pay for the damage, leaving us feeling scammed rather than genuinely accountable. It felt like a deliberate scam to squeeze extra money from guests.

We changed the room to a room with Air conditioning directy by the sea. Awesome view and very luxorious. Before that we had a fan room. The staff at the restaurant, reception or in general was very very friendly and kind. They try everything to make your stay as good as possible. The food and the cocktails were very good but also a little more expensive than on other places in Thailand. Also the beach was nice and the clear the and the corals reefs are awesome for snorkeling. All in all it was a very nice stay but a little expensive.

The fan room we had before was too expensive. Two fans and the room was open everywhere so that bugs and all kinds of animals could get in. So it was very very hot and we had all kinds of visitors there. I posted both rooms in the pictures here.

Very calm location with great view and sea. The water is clear, very good to swim. The breakfast was very good and the staff always very helpful and kind.

You need to pay 150bath/person for a oneway boat from pier to resort as well as to return. This happens because the resort is a little way from the main pier in phi phi, something that we already knew. If you are searching for a place away from the main center, that is not a problem.

Lovely wonderful staff.. Enjoyable food and drink any time of day for a small bay off the beaten track. Not too large as a resort - maybe 30 rooms but it never felt crowded. Always deck chairs on the beach and a boat moored up to be able to pop off to the town if needed. Super half boat trip day as well. The massage was great. The laundry returned well done. All good.

There really isn't much to grumble about honestly. Could have changed the bedding - 5 nights with out a change, and the mattress was hard to our liking, but that's really all. It's an island, so water is precious. It's seaside, so it's sandy. And the monkeys are keen to look for food in the rooms - remember to keep it locked.

I loved the beach front location with the sound of the waves on the beach. Perfect spot to relax. Also had a massage and am usually very cautious of my neck but the masseuse knew exactly how to massage that area and my neck has never felt better, thank you! Food was amazing! The massaman and Penang curries were outstanding! Absolutely loved the isolation of the resort and had monkeys on the beach next to the resort one afternoon which amused us; although not at all friendly. Went on a half day tour to some of the famous bays… Viking was beautiful but Maya and monkey beach were a waste of time (way too crowded). Snorkeling out front was fun…. Heaps of fishies 😁

Had first night at top of hill. And next 3 nights beach front. Definitely go beach front. Bathroom drainage in no. 48 needs to be improved… slope of tiling pools water on wrong side of toilet and on arrival stunk of urine… ended up having to do a clean myself (although to be fair didn’t alert staff). Would love a fridge in room.

Make sure you don’t book the rooms with fan , it is extremely hot and they get full of insects and mosquitos. Thanks god receptionist was really nice and got us a room in the building with aircon. Simple room but much nicer than the hubs in the seafront . Overall great hotel. Only problem if you book activities the last boat to hotel is 5:30 so after this you have to walk 1 hour thru the jungle up the hill or pay 1500 bahts boat to take you back to hotel. The hotel boat is 150bahts. They take advantage of people who have to go to this hotels . Beach in hotel nice if you want to do some snorkelling,

The location was amazing, the beach was soft white sand and the water was so clear. One could do snorkeling right in front of the beach by swimming for only a few meters. We had a bungalow at the beach front and the view was breathtaking. The restaurant served delicious food and the special menus were good value.

Can't complain much, other than a good coffee in the morning was missing.

The private Beach. The Location is really a dream Destination. You calm down there automatically. Most of the staff were really friendly. If it was only for the Location and the staff we would have given a 10/10. The Booked Breakfast with buffet was good. It had plenty options.

We had a Bungalow with Beach View. The view was stunning but the room itself was not so Great. No Door to the Bathroom, only a Ventilator and no A/C. You see that the Bungalows are just getting old. And you Kind of need a A/C because there are no Nettes on the Windows that you cant‘t Open them at Night because of mosquitos and insects. We tried various dishes in the Restaurant. The Thai Dishes were o.k. The Western Dishes were not good. The Burger and the fries were horrible. They live a lot from the Location and their staff who is trying to give you a good experience, but the rooms could be just better for the Price.

Amazing location, right next to the beach and jungle. The beachfront bungalow comes with a lovely balcony that has incredible view of the white sand and blue waters. It's quiet and you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The facility offers a wide variety of activities that are well panned and scheduled. All the staff is very polite, helpful and always with a smile. Wide variety of Thai and international food at the restaurant with reasonable prices.

The rooms can be a bit noisy because the floors creak etc, which is normal for a wooden room. Also, it is not allowed to have food or drinks in the room, which again is understandable due to the location, but it's a shame as it would have been nice to be able to have a cold coconut while relaxing at the privacy of your balcony. *NOTE FOR VEGANS* The menu although extensive, offers very little vegan options, and the ingredients of each dish are not clearly stated on the menu which can make the selection of food frustrating. Even the taro and coconut milk includes dairy 😭 Always check with staff before ordering.
