Best view in Phi Phi island guaranteed (!) The room is pretty large. If there were defects the staff fixed them quickly. Getting to the hotel requires going up stairs. we liked the fact of being a bit distanced from the crowds but if you don't wanna sweat a bit don't come, then complain and give bad reviews (!). These people are hard working people (!) who created a hotel that took a lot of hard work and give the guests a unique experience with a special view, respect and appreciate their labor. Sorry for getting personal but the reviews we read before made us understand how some tourists could be very petty, narrow minded and disrespectful for their hosts.

Excellent view from the balcony and also from the room. Located very close to the Phi Phi Island viewpoint. Lobby is also has a very good view.

Additional tax was added though 7% VAT was included in the rate provided by Booking.com. During booking it was THB 5994 but i had to pay THB 6183.82.

The view from the room is stunning, ( almost the viewpoint view) you can watch the sunset from the room. We took the deluxe room and it's very big 30m2 with a nice terrace. They come pick up your suitcase at the harbor Overall it's clean and you have a real shower

It's a lot of stairs to get there, so be prepared to take a shower every time you get to the room. They don't provide refill water, for the price that would be expected... The sheets had a few hairs ... It's quite noisy until 2 am, as you are up hill you can hear the boom boom from the parties The air conditioning was not the most effective

Excellent location, a great view from the apartment, and very helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. Yes, there are steps to climb, but it's not as bad as some comments suggest – it's like if you'd lived on the 3rd floor, it wouldn't bother us too much :) Plus, you have to "pay" for that wonderful view. It was a bonus, that the food in the resort's restaurant was very good, we tried 3 dishes, and all of them were great.

Nothing we didn't like – if we return to this amazing island, we'll surely stay in this resort again.

If you are planning to stay at Phi Phi for a night, do try the hotels either on the hilltop with a view of the seas, or on the beach itself! We choose the hilltop.....though it was a tiring walk up the hill, it was on the way to the sunset viewpoint, so 80% of the walk was already covered! The hotel provides luggage pick-up and drop-off to the Tonsai jetty, so don't worry. The staff are friendly and provide all the info you need. The rooms are good and serve the purpose for the location. Do try out Arboreal.

The restaurant wasn't great, I suggest to walk down to the main market area to explore the options.

Great views, good location if you don’t mind to climb some steps to the mountain. But it is worthy because you have a great view from the balcony. Big balcony, great room service.

The bed was a little bit hard and uncomfortable. Monkeys are usually around the balcony, but if you don’t do anything stupid like feed them, no problem at all.

The views from the room is amazing. Second to none. Rooms were comfortable with good beds, clean sheets, clean bathrooms, and a great balcony.

The rooms are really high and need to take too many steps every time and very difficult to do so on a good day, let alone after a good night out drinking. They should really need some arrangement for an elevator of sorts. While the staff is helpful in carrying your bags from pier all the way to your room, their service way back to the pier when you heave on only at limited time slots and if your boat out of Phi Phi is not at the right time, then won’t help with your bags till pier (they will help you get the bags till the bottom the stairs though). Included breakfast was ok, not very remarkable.

The room was good, clean, everything worked and the Aircon was cold! The view is amazing. On site restaurants serve good food and they also have cold beers, drink, and a small selection of dry snacks.

The walk up to reception is challenging, don't forget anything you need for your day or evening when you venture down! The hotel is on the walk up to the viewpoint (amazing views) but you have to expend some energy to get there. Our deluxe room was another 2 sets of steps from reception. If accessibility is an issue or struggle with strenuous movement I would consider something else.

The hotel is in a beautiful location! Yes, there are many stairs as the other people have noted, but honestly I expected worse after reading those reviews. The view is worth the climb, plus the staff (the loveliest people!) can help carry the bags. The rooms that my friends and I had were clean, there were all the facilities needed. The breakfast was good too!

The AC was working quite loudly, as if it was malfunctioning. The shower is very tiny and not separated from the toilet, so the whole bathroom can get quite wet after the shower.

Stunning views!! we got upgraded to deluxe and had an amazing spacious room with the best view, all facilities were there :) Unfortunately there is many steps to go up and Phi Phi is a veery hot island so you must know this before you book as i see many negative reviews regarding this. Seems like people dont research before booking lol

Reception could be little nicer, he seemed more interested in playing videogames than helping clients lol. I asked beforehand for two pillows and only got one, also i had to ask for toilet paper everyday at the reception :/
