We chose the Grand Tamaris principally because of its location -- we wanted to explore southern Provence, from Arles down to the Mediterranean coast. It's a beautiful property and very quiet. Our host was exceptional, answering all our questions and offering suggestions on local places to visit. Our room was quite large and comfortable, with very adequate air conditioning that easily handled the hot weather. And the outdoor swimming pool was a wonderful refreshment after a day out sightseeing. Breakfasts were delicious, enjoyed on the covered patio in the cool summer morning.

The service was fantastic, friendly and super kind. The rooms are very large and comfortable, and the bathroom is super comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is easy to arrive at and it's close to the city and ecological parks, making it easy to explore any time of the day or night. We didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the pool due to the strong winds, but it's a place we expect to visit again in the future.

We were at the Grand Tamaris Hotel at the beginning of July. A very warm welcome awaits you here. The hotel is located in a very quiet, green area, but close enough to Arles, which is very convenient. The room and bathroom are very spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable!! There is everything for a relaxing holiday. In the evening it is nice to take a dip in the pool. Breakfast, lovingly prepared by the owners of the hotel, exceeded all our expectations! There were various types of sausages, cheese, delicious French bread, fruit, coffee and of course homemade marmalade!! Above all praise! The owners of the hotel Jean Marc and his wife are really very warm and friendly people ready to help you at any moment. Our car broke down during our stay in Arles and Jean Marc really helped us a lot. We are deeply grateful for his support!! We give the highest rating and highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Great old farmhouse, in a country location, with excellent hosts. Breakfast on the downstairs terrace was terrific. The spacious room and bathroom were very comfortable. Thanks for the referral to the Flamingo Restaurant down the road too. Plus many thanks for ringing us straight away when we left our voltage converter behind! Thoroughly recommended!

Absolutely great and friendly host, who always cared about us. Excellent breakfast, which has been prepared with so much love. The pool is amazing and huge. Perfect place to explore the area (also by bike). We had a very clean and nicely renovated room, which we really enjoyed. The host speaks english perfectly and also some german.

It has to be a 10. A very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, a charming host who made us an excellent breakfast each day, a large comfortable room, a beautiful pool. A good location for exploring the Camargue. Would certainly recommend.
