We loved the location - the pool and gardens are an oasis of tranquility. The staff were amazing - very welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were quite impressed by the quality of the food in the restaurant at dinner, even if the selection was a little limited.

The rooms were rather darker than shown in the photos, because of the trees in front of the windows. Although the staff who did serve us were great, the hotel felt understaffed, needing more capacity in the restaurant, bar and housekeeping areas to maintain the quality of service.

Quiet Location, spacious rooms, fast WiFi connection, plenty of parking and excellent buffet breakfast. The aircon worked well for central heating that was needed and it was quiet. There's even a pool and a lovely big lounge with a fireplace. Short walk into the main square, plenty of restaurants and cafes. Short drive to Elvas for the morning and 15 mins away from a vineyard for wine tasting... We've stayed here many times and will continue to return!

No walk-in showers and the shower head is too small to accommodate the power shower pressure so it is easy to wet the whole bathroom!! The beds were a little too hard for me but comfortable for my husband.

The hotel is located in a perfect place right in the old part of the town. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept. We could take our breakfast outside and sit under a lovely row of trees, which shaded the area. The beds were really comfortable and the AC worked well. The pool offered a wonderful respite to the hot weather as the water was lovely and cool. There were sun beds as well as a lovely shaded area to sit and dry off. The breakfast and dinner options were good and the white wine was delicious.

Fantastic experience. The location is perfect, right in the center of Estremoz, allowing easy exploration of the city on foot. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured a perfect night's sleep. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive and professional. They were always available to help with any questions or needs, and their recommendations on what to do and see in Estremoz were very helpful. I highly recommend the Hotel Pateo dos Solares to anyone looking for a stay in Estremoz. The combination of an excellent location, comfortable rooms, quality services, and an exceptional team made this an experience I want to repeat.

We had one of the nicest stays in a long time at Pateo dos Solares (and we travel a lot). This boutique hotel stands out as the best we’ve ever experienced. We felt very privileged to spend the night in such a prestigious place, especially for such a reasonable price. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and ready to help with anything, always with a smile. The hotel was lovely and warm, providing a perfect contrast to the cold weather outside. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommend!

The pool and garden are an oasis in Estremoz and we always spend time relaxing in the poolside garden when we visit for the Saturday market. The location and and parking are ideal. The breakfast room is lovely and the food is good.

Carrying the bags up a big flight of stairs was not ideal; however the room made it worthwhile as it was spacious, cool, and overlooked the garden. There was a small problem of pill bugs in the bathroom… During the day, the pool and grounds can be used by locals for day use and sometimes there are a lot of kids splashing around; otherwise, the clientele are mostly low key couples who enjoy quiet time relaxing around the pool.

Wonderful hotel in beautiful town. We were allocated a very bright beautiful corner room overlooking the fields and the hill. Nice neutral cosy deco; very comfy bed/pillows; soft bed linen and towels; nice toiletries; slippers and robes provided; always a plus to have mini fridge in a room. Very good breakfast. Beautiful outdoor area and pool. Shame it was too cold to fully enjoy. But we will be back. The front parking had no space, but there is huge parking at the back of the hotel, which was perfect! Great place to stay if you wish to explore the town.

As a suggestion for hotel to check room electricity card slot to ensure it works. We had trouble with that when we came back in the evening, couldn’t turn on lights. Reception gave us an additional card and then it worked.

Very nice location close to the city center. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The fact that the hotel has available a spot for electric vehicles is a positive aspect that worths to be mentioned.

Besides the nice aspect from the outside, the hotel deserves some global intervention on the inside if they wish to compete with similar “charm” places in Evora. Breakfast deserves an “ok” rate and again the comparison is inevitable. However, the quality of the products that was presented was very good.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We like Estremos for it's choice of restaurants and this hotel is within easy walk into town. It's also within the castle walls. This trip we managed to get a twin room in the main block (they have garden blocks too), all accessible to the pool. Rooms are very spacious, large twin beds, (still a bit firm for me) , WiFi speed good enough for streaming and we requested a walk-in shower. The TV had many English channels. Breakfast was more continental style in a very decorative sunny room that opens out to the pool and gardens. There's plenty of secure parking on site. As it was raining, we decided to eat in and the main dining room had a good menu and quality was very good and tasty. Great value for money.

More fresh fruit choices at breakfast maybe and 12noon checkout instead of 11am.
