Great food! (dinner and breakfast). Beautiful location with views of the lake. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Good value for money.

I'm a light sleeper so woke up a couple of times due to noise from the hallway. However, this wouldn't have been an issue if I'd remembered to bring my earplugs, which I normally use.

Rooms were well maintained and clean. Good size rooms.

Sound carried from the hallway into the rooms. Signs in the hallways suggesting that guest keep noise to a minimum (including opening and closing doors quietly) would have been helpful. While decent wifi was provided, it was only able to be used in the reception/dining area. With no 4G coverage, it made planning for things very inconvenient (especially when it’s a safety issue for hiking at cradle mountain). There weren’t any spots that weren’t dining or bar areas to sit and use the wifi either. The inclusion of a microwave or toaster would have been nice, along with cutlery and a bowl.

The location is perfect, you will enjoy a natural mountainous serenity over a lakeview with plenty of wildlife, such as native birds and wild bunnies. So, there's plenty of photo-ops. (Not all rooms have a lakeview, but you can walk around the lodge or through the restaurant to experience this. There's opportunity to rent a kayak from the reception and take this across lake Rosebery on a paddle. I've been coming to the Tullah Lodge restaurant for meals and coffee since moving to the West Coast 5 months ago. And I've never experienced dull service, or below standard food. They have a varied menu with lots of pub favorites, seafood, Asian dishes, as well as their cabinet of fresh rolls, wraps and sweet treats. I liked my room, the bed was comfortable, decent sized room, with a separate kitchenette and bathroom. And of course, a heat pump.

The only downside was the bathroom in my room type (Standard double) had an original (un-renovated bathroom) which was quite old. There were a few bits of damage to the paint/walls in the room, the only way to get water is from the bathroom sink which was okay, as the water was nice.

The room was small but well laid out with a small deck that looked at the lake. There was coffee and tea and a fridge in the room. Bed was comfy. Large shower was nice. Place was clean. The two fireplaces in the restaurant and bar were welcome in the chill. Food and service was very good.

Internet is advertised in the room but the days we were there, there was no internet. Had to go to the main lodge. So don’t expect working internet. Some of the furniture such as on our deck is looking tired and could do with replacing.

Great restaurant, friendly staff, good value, comfortable rooms. A great location with quick access to the West Coast of Tasmania. The food was great, generous portions, fresh good quality ingredient, well prepared. The scallops and calamari where just cooked, fresh and twisty; not shriveled lumps and rubber bands. Vegetables tasty and tender.

The bush fires closed the roads to the west coast; no fault of the resort.

- It's a beautifull location with nice views of mountains and lake. - The outlook from the lakeview room was lovely. - The bathroom was modern and clean. - The bed was comfortable. - The room had AC. - Nice walking tracks around the lake. - Not too many people around, easy to find solitude. - Polite and friendly staff. Housekeeping were lovely and the room was very clean.

The meals were expensive, but you get that in a remote location and the food was good quality and tasty. What sort of got me though was being charged an extra $3 for a tiny cup of mushroom gravy as a "side" when ordering a $28 chicken schnitzel. Not a huge deal, but this is the only thing I didn't like. I think that gravy should be complimentary when ordering a schnitty, especially at that price point.

The staff were excellent, super nice and would go above and beyond. Food and service were great. Great dietary options. The real standout is the location, it is simply stunning. The property is on a stunning lake, incredible views anytime of day, you can hire canoes to use. It was picture perfect. Lovely extra services available - meals from early til late, great bar selection including locally distilled spirits. We had planned to travel around the area more but we ended up just staying there for our whole stay.

Although the rooms were clean they could use a few extra minor improvements - A toaster or microwave would’ve been really useful in the kitchenette area. I would have appreciated a caddy in the shower for our toiletries. Overall though these didn’t impact our stay and we were very happy with our stay.

Our Lakeside room had a lovely view of the lake surrounded by tree ferns. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had high pressure and plenty of hot water. The bar and restaurant were great with very good food and reasonable prices. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. This really was good value for money.

The furniture in the room was a little tired but as the bed was good this wasn’t too much of a problem.

The Lodge is amazing! The rooms are good with comfy beds and great bathrooms and showers!! The location doesn't seem like much from the front, but walk through to the dining area or the rear garden and you will bowled over with the view!!! Perfect lake side placement! Great for sunsets too. The food and dessert menu was amazing and the service in the dining room was fabulous!!

Our room was comfy clean and cosy after a days hike at Mt Murchison. The accommodation exceeded our expectations- the bar and restaurant had an excellent atmosphere and the food was great value. We were surprised at how many people were also staying there with us. Will definitely return if in that neck of the woods!!

Our booking via booking.com has had been received despite us receiving confirmation email. Staff were very accommodating and found us a room, although a little bit more expensive that original price, we were happy to pay it given not many places to stay in the area.
