We had a wonderful stay at Treetops. All the staff, managed by Audre, were great, very hard working and lovely to chat with. Our room was really spacious and comfortable. The housekeepers came every day and did a wonderful job (do leave them a tip!). The pool is really handy if you don't fancy a beach day. There are also free bikes to use whilst there. There are loads of great food and drink places close by, we really recommend a nightcap at Big Titty Rum Bar, seems to be a local fave and very good atmosphere!

We struggled to get bikes for a couple of days as two families were there together and were making good use of them all day and evening, so it may be helpful to encourage guests to be mindful of that so there are plenty to share. Otherwise everything was great.

Audré and the team are lovely, very welcoming and friendly. I appreciate the free bikes they offer to zip around, although most things are very walkable. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the island. Daily room service was a nice touch. They also have a water jug so you can refill your water bottles which was much needed during the hot days. They are very thoughtful hosts and even provide a little booklet of helpful info and restaurant recommendations. It was a very pleasant stay!

Everything was amazing! However I have one small suggestion that could be helpful for the rooms on the ground floor, located inside the building. There was a door to the outside, so you could hear people come and go, in and out of that main entry door and walk up and down the hallway. Luckily people weren’t out too late or too loud coming and going, but just an FYI. Perhaps a small rug or something to absorb a bit of the noise would help? It wasn’t too bothersome, but just sharing for consideration :)

A wonderful boutique hotel on the island. VERY expensive for what was on offer (compared to other 4* places), but nonetheless a pleasant stay! the room was lovely, huge comfy bed and a well supplied kitchen. Great views to the sea and a lovely little pool to dip into to cool off. Not far from the pier and main restaurants, and walkable to what you’d need!

They were understaffed when I arrived so I had to wait a little to check in. There was also a major power cut when I was there which got in the way of a shower or two! do also be warned that Treetops is very close to the seaweed side of the island (wasn’t an issue when I stayed at a hotel on the NW side of the island) so during sargassum season, the smell hits you when you leave the room. Nothing the hotel can massively do about those two things (other than have back up generators and perhaps some nice candles in the rooms) but worth bearing in mind given the price of this place!

Audre is a perfect host. She helped us and took care of everything we need. The place is really nice, the rooms are big, well decorated and convenient . There is a free bike rental that is useful to go around the island.

The location is not that good, it is in the southern part of the island, approximately 10-15 minutes walking to most of the places you wanna go to. For us it was a bit of a trouble every time we needed to walk or cycle to get somewhere. In addition, they build a pool in the hotel so there were building noises right next to our room. It wasn’t bothering at all since we weren’t at the room for most of the working hours, but from our point of view it should have been mentioned or embodied in the price of the room.

The hotel is located around a six-minute walk from the ferry terminal at the Southern quieter end of Caye Caulker. We stayed in the lighthouse room a bright and airy bedroom with lots of space and well equipped with fridge, tv, safe, fan, and aircon. Large very comfortable bed. Bathroom equally spacious with one of the best showers on our trip. Facilities here are good with swimming pool, plenty of lounge areas including a rooftop terrace and access to a private beach across the road. There are also complementary free bicycles. Communication with the hotel ahead of our visit was really good with Audre always available on WhatsApp.

Nothing

We stayed in two different rooms; both were spacious and recently, tastefully updated. The staff was extremely friendly and all went out of their way to be helpful. The location was a short walk or bike ride restaurants and grocery stores, but away from the busiest areas. We used the free bikes every day to explore the island and Audre called golf cart taxis for us when needed.

No coffee pots! They had hot pots or tea kettles, but apparently Nescafe is the norm in Belize (we didn't have a coffee maker in our Belize City hotel, either). There was a bit too much light at night from a/c & tv power buttons for me. The hotel has a nice seating area near the water, but there is really no beach to speak of (this is true of the east side of the entire island) and the sargassum is a HUGE problem right now,

A relaxing paradise outside of the main hustle & bustle of the centre of Caye Caulker. Free bikes available 24/7 to get around which was great, or a short walk into the main strip. Very big, spacious room with large comfortable bed, kitchenette & everything you could possibly need. Meticulously clean. Beautiful pool & roof top terrace. The property manager Audré (Céline Dion of Caye Caulker 😀) was very welcoming & helpful in every way. Highly recommend this property!

Checkout at 10am is earlier than other places.

They did not offer breakfast, but have a gym with weights and bikes you can use. You can walk or ride a bike to get coffee and breakfast. There is also a refrigerator in the room if you want to buy yogurt and fruit at the grocery store. They have a water jug outside where you can fill your water bottles. We are more act8ve so like the morning gym and the bikes.

My husband thought the TV was too small to watch from bed. There are chairs where you can get closer. He also wanted a little desk. All rooms are different though.

Beach front property with a private beach area. A lovely pool where the sun hits pretty much all day. The staff was so kind and lovely, they always made sure our rooms were clean and free of sand. Such a relaxing place and great location, a close walk to everywhere including their airport.

My husband said he thought the bed was uncomfortable but I had no issues whatsoever with the bed.

The property is clean and beautiful and well maintained. Management provides so much from fresh drinking water, to FREE bicycles, shampoo and soap, towels, quality beach towels, coffee, tea, and so much more. Audrey was amazing and contacted us prior to arriving to see if she could arrange anything from a taxi ride to daily excursions. She was super helpful with dining and shopping suggestions and gave us her contact # to ask questions at anytime. We needed a doctor during our stay on the island and she made all the contacts and gathered info for us. The doctor is very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Audrey is very efficient and helpful. The housekeeper is super friendly and accommodating. Everyone there will go out of their way to help or answer questions. The location of the hotel was perfect. It is a little walk or bike ride towards food and shopping but we enjoyed the exercise and would rather walk a couple blocks than be down with the loud music and nightlife. The fans and a/c work beautifully along with the hot water. The beds are very comfortable and had a small fridge to chill water and drinks. We spent a lot of time reading in the hammocks on the roof and on the beach in front of the property. It is cooler on the beach and the higher up you go. Beautiful views of the ocean and town.
