Great location in the upper town close to the beautiful war memorial and basilica and within a 15-20 minute walk of the waterfront. Wide choice of restaurants nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was lovely with plenty of fresh French bread and pastries, cheeses and meats. They offer overnight, open air parking for 10 Euros per night but there is plenty of free on-street parking also. Great value for money.

The room amenities were basic but perfectly sufficient for an overnight stay.

The room was clean and of a good size and the location was great. Check in was quick and easy. There was no milk for the tea and coffee in the room but the staff member sorted this without issue and gave us a jug of milk

Breakfast was a little chaotic and busy, might have been better to give time slots to avoid lots of people appearing at the same time.

Location was amazing, very closed to the fortified town with lots of restaurants and bars. We enjoyed walking our dog around the fortifications it's a lovely green path. The hotel parking was safe, being shared with the police, and practical. The reception area is warm and all the staff efficient and friendly. The breakfast was tasty, lots of options and enjoyable. We appreciated being able to bring our little dog. The rooms were clean and warm, we had a view of the cathedral, and the shower was very hot. A very pleasant stay.

The rooms were on the small side, but well laid out cozy and comfortable.

The location was brilliant next to the entrance to the old town but also not too noisy at night. There was a free bus (doesn't run on Sundays) which stopped outside and went and and down the hill to the harbour and shops. It was good to have an outdoor terrace to have a drink and eat breakfast as the weather was warm during our stay.. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our rooms were better than expected - functional but clean and fine for a few nights stay. I would return here if staying in Boulogne again.

Nothing really. There was no a/c but fans were provided. We had our own rooms, doubles for sole occupancy which were great for a single traveller but I think they would be cramped for two people. Not a lot of storage space and a compact bathroom - however, the rooms were clean and had everything we wanted.

We really liked this hotel for a one night stop over. The view from the room, looking down into Boulogne and to the left of the Cathedral was lovely and a super start to our holiday. The inclusive breakfast was good, varied and plentiful and the ceiling in the breakfast room was beautifully painted with a classical scene. There was free parking across from the hotel and also a large car park further round. There were several restaurants to choose from in the old town under the arch by the Cathedral.

The room was a bit 'brown' and dated but everything else was great so we didn't mind!

We loved the location of the hotel, which was just on the edge of the old town with a view of the city walls. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. Parking nearby was easy. It was a good central base for our time in Boulogne.

The hotel was a modest hotel which was good value for money and well located.

The location was ideal in the old part of Boulogne to see the castle and other historical attractions in that area,plenty of parking. The staff were very helpful, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. As for the room in the hotel everything you require was available and very clean.

Excellent location for old town. Comprehensive buffet breakfast Great to have a secure carpark, but free parking is across the road .

Rooms slightly small, No room for a large suitcase. Shower door too small so water leaks onto bathroom floor Car Park very tight to get in and out of we saw two people scrape their wingmirrors!

Location is very close to the centre of the walled town, just a very short stroll to the lovely shops and restaurants. The room is functional and adequate, albeit a little compact. Perfect for a one night stop, but storage space is limited so a longer stay could be an issue if you have lots of luggage. The ladies on the reception desk were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing; such an extensive choice of food to choose from, good coffee and great teas. Secure parking is available, which is really handy, but at €10/day it's not cheap!

Everything was good!

The location is fantastic, a short walk to the historic old town with a great choice of restaurants, bars and places to visit. As always with the Ibis hotels, there are great facilities, food and drink are available even on a Sunday when a lot of places are closed in France.
