After booking the hotel, we read some reviews – we didn’t really know what to expect, because the guests’ spicy hotel descriptions made us prepare for a full Moulin Rouge-style adventure. I have to say, everything was very calm! The only thing we heard during the day was a woman screaming and moaning like in an exorcism in one of the top-floor rooms. That could be heard throughout the hotel. But the night was peaceful, and we hardly heard the other guests. The hotel itself is really clean and well-kept. As for the neighborhood, we had read some not-so-great reviews, but during the day we didn’t experience anything bad – mostly older people on the streets and many auto parts stores. In the morning, the receptionist made us a delicious coffee.

As for the more negative aspects – I’m not really sure how to put it. There’s nothing exactly bad. And yet… the hotel has a kind of strange feeling. It’s hard to describe, but something seems… off. 🙂 Maybe it was just our impression. Otherwise – everything was very nice.

Short walk from the Tzitziphies bus stop. We took the bus direct from Athens airport, only cost 5.5 euros each. We arrived after 10pm. The receptionist was friendly on arrival, they recommended a seafood and a grill restaurant just a few doors away, which were still serving. The room was comfortable, clean, air-conditioning and a fridge. It was a very short walk out to the main street where you could access buses to the centre of Athens, Piraeus port and the metro station. They were happy to store our luggage whilst we visited the city and before proceeding to the port for our onward journey.

The bar wasn't manned, you had to get the receptionist to come and serve you, which felt like an inconvenience to them.

Absolutely gem of a place. Stayed here during the Coldplay concert, and so had to be a bit out of the center. But what a place. The towels comes in New plastic every day, very clean. They Even Ask if we want cleaning if we exit the room in the evening. The area around is so so Nice with restaurants and cafés nearby. Also super easy to take the bus to the center. 10/10 would recommend. They also got room service at any time.

I think people smoke in the rooms so it smells smoke in the building at times and inside the rooms sometimes. Only minus we had.

This was my 3rd time in this hotel (in period from June to October) and I will definately come back again. Good value for the money and very polite and nice staff. Hotel is very near to all main spots in Athens ( Syntagma, Glifada, Piraeus) and public transportation connections are great. Bus X96 will take you directly to airport and bus station is just 5 min away from this hotel. There are several great restaurants near hotel, as well supermarket, small grocery and great bakery are just few steps away. If you want to be located in quite area but near to all main spots this hotel is real gem.

Very kind staff always ready to fulfill guest's requests. The room I had was very large and clean. The hotel is two minutes away from the tram stop.

The fan in the toilette in room 103 makes a lot of noise. It needs to be adjusted because the noise can disturb other guests during the night. In the shower would be nice to have a hook for the shower-head so one can have a proper shower. Breakfast for 5 euro was nice, but could be improved with bakery products.

The key for me - cleanliness, and the room was very clean. Free parking in the garage adds a lot. Bus connection to the centre of Athens is very easy. Generally, when you don’t need a flashy and pricey place but are just looking for a good few nights stay, there can’t be better. Λεωφόρος Ποσειδώνος is a brilliant avenue that is only a 1-minute walk and has all that one may need, cafes, shops, bars, restaurants, you name it

One weird thing is that they ask to leave the card key at the reception. Not a biggie but strange. Can’t say I didn’t like it just a bit unusual

Everything was very good. Room was clean and big, hotel was ok, parking was available all the time, which was very important for me. Also decent restaurants around the area. Only a small detail made this trip a little uncomfy, considering we are a family...

...Literally the first channel on tv when you turn it on is a porn channel. I am not sure it is the same for all the rooms, but it was for our. It is a good to laugh thing for sure, but not the best thing ever considering we turned on the tv with my 2 years old baby next to us...

Staff were very polite and helpful The room was freshly cleaned and it was really comfy Hotel Atlantic is located close to amenities, like a bus station that takes you to Syntagma and korah square from where you can easily go to Piraeus port. It has also very close two restaurants, one kebab shops and also it has a bank in order to get money if you need. It is also very close to tram station which can take you to Voula where there are some nice beaches to swim Despite being close to the central road which is Theseos Avenue, it is quiet because it is not located on the central road which for me it is important since you can sleep without having the fear of the noisy central road

The only negative that I can say is that it is quite far from the centre of Athens, so if someone wants to go to Athens for sight seeing and for the marker, then he/she either needs to consider a more central hotel, like close to Monastiraki or Syntagma square or somewhere more close to these areas or to accept the fact that would need to take a public transport, if he/she doesn't have a car in order to get to the centre of Athens

Great comfort and value for the money ! Girls from reception are superb !!! I will come back again..
