Hi, the apartment was very clean, nice and light and white and modern which was lovely. we loved the pool, however the 9-5 pool hours being restricted were a little disappointing - but we do understand this has been a 'council' decision, and not "The Bluff" changing these hours.

We paid for a view of the ocean(other apartments are cheaper if they have no view!)however our apartment had a huge palm tree in front, so unfortunately, we could hardly see the sea, so this was disappointing. I believe that when booking this particular apartment(112), that says 'ocean view' and we pay for this, then before people book, they need to know that this apartment does not have an ocean view - it has a view of a huge palm tree. Which is lovely, but is certainly not an "ocean view!"

Superb View of the bay from the many, quite private, windows. Room 314 so on top level. On entry, the facility looked a "bit dated" but the view was the winner and the facilities did everything we needed. Very clean and functional. Whalers restaurant just below us was also excellent. TV functions worked easily (chrome cast, Netflix etc)

The undercover parking bays were built when cars were smaller, maybe. With a basic Mazda CX5, we could just reverse in and fold the mirrors in, and barely open the door without knocking the neighbour. On second day, parked outside so the hire car would not get "dinged" in the door.

Room was of generous size. Comfy bed. Clean. Well equipped kitchenette (but we abhor the ubiquitous instant coffee). Easy parking. Pleasant area for walking (but only one pricey restaurant nearby). Free communal laundry machines were most convenient.

The listing is perfectly accurate: there is no view. Most of the surface of the 3 windows was covered with opaque film, presumably for privacy from neighbours in more expensive adjacent units which have the ocean view. Too close to these neighbours who made too much noise - always briefly - entering and leaving their units, including after 10PM. You may need earplugs. No exterior appeal - building or grounds. It was OK for one night.

Spacious apartment with beautiful views across encounter bay! Very clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a getaway. Great air-conditioning and terrific large flat screen TV with Foxtel and login to streaming services. Fold out sofa bed. Lovely, very clean large bathroom with huge spa bath tub. Thoughtfully stocked kitchen with, small fridge, microwave, hotplates and tableware and utensils. Toaster and coffee machine! Wonderful balcony with seating and stunning views. The room directly below can be reserved (at separate cost) as a second, self contained space with inside stairs leading to the apartment above, (townhouse style). Clever design for two couples or small families with young children. Lovely, friendly check-in at Reception. The beautiful swimming pool area is open 9am to 5pm. Recommend a stay 😊.

The rattling bathroom exhaust fans need adjusting or replacing in upstairs and downstairs rooms. Nothing to complain about otherwise 👍

Lovely apartment, very clean with good facilities and beautiful outlook

In view of the price and general high quality and the distance from any shops, we were disappointed to find that for 2 of us for 2 nights we had only been given one tiny bottle of milk, 2 coffee pods, 2 basic biscuit packs. These things are so cheap and instead of feeling generously catered for, it seemed rather minimal and stingy & detracted from the overall impression. We were also surprised that there did not appear to be any lift to the higher floors. Most guests have luggage to cart up and many must be elderly and all the stairs were a bit challenging, especially after a recent hip operation.

Great location, amazing views, apartment facilities really good and spacious. Very happy with close undercover parking for 2/3 bedroom apartments. Office staff upon check in were very friendly and welcoming as well.

Just being nit picky but apartment floor had not been cleaned and within minutes of arriving and walking around barefoot inside we all had black feet, not a deal breaker by any means just feedback for the resort/apartment owner but aside from that this is an amazing place to stay and highly recommend The Bluff Resort Apartments.

The room was a very good size and it was well appointed. We had everything we needed. It was very good value. We didn't mind not having a view, and appreciated the lower price for this. We did get to see the beautiful pink sky at sunrise from our room. The room was comfortably warm and we didn't need to run the aircon despite the weather being quite cool.

The bed and pillows were a little hard (but we are finding we prefer softer beds these days) and the sheets had a weird rubbery feel. The 3-room bathroom area is a little awkward, but it means multiple people can use each area at the same time. The TV was difficult to operate. Make sure you understand you will have to carry your bags upstairs from the carpark.

Beautiful views from the bluff end of Encounter Bay. Lovely quiet area, great open space apartment with floor to ceiling windows onto outdoor deck. Everything you need in apartment, except washing machine, though resort has a laundry room you can use. Close to walk trail around the Bluff, views are amazing! Great little pizza/ pasta/ curry restaurant on the Esplanade about 1km away. Great food! Nice pool area, though bit chilly the night we were there.

Restaurant next door was closed ( Mon _Tues) ...not the resorts fault. Many food places were closed on these days.

The layout of the apartment and the view! Separating all the bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs was great because whoever stayed up didn’t disturb the people who were sleeping. The morning sun lit up the living space and warmed it up. The place could use a little TLC with some maintenance like a new paint and removal of some of the rotten wood edges from the sea salt.

The overly soft bed which were bad for our backs and the showers. It was so hard to get the water neither scorching or cold and the water pressure in the shower was so very much lacking

The rooms far exceeded our expectations. We knew we were paying for a room without a view, and wasn't expecting the high level of facilities provided at such a great price. We could have stayed here quite comfortably for a much longer period of time. Wasn't expecting the microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery that made eating in so much easier. LOVED the bathroom layout, with separate toilet, separate shower and a sink area. Very easy for multiple people to use at once. The room was very spacious, didn't feel squashed at all. Lots of things to watch on the Foxtel TV.

Almost got caught out by the check-in closing time of 5pm. Didn't read that, and we were still in Adelaide at that time. But everything was resolved over the phone, and the keys were left in a lockbox and clear instructions sent by text message. Not sure what would have happened if I hadn't rung them at 4:58pm...hopefully the Night Manager would have been able to fix. I didn't like washing the dishes in the bathroom sink. Just seems not quite right. And I worried that the previous guests might not have washed them properly...
