Very cheap, very convenient for one person.. or business travelling.. the rooms are older.. but the location makes up for that.. owners are polite.. parking is easy .. plenty of room for parking.. good views.. free WiFi and smart TV's. Close to victor harbour and the larder kitchen...

Rooms could be updated a little.. perhaps new colours.. it dies have a retro vibe which i liked but my partner thought it hadn't been changed from the 70s.. I however loved the retro vibe...

Clean and comfortable room.

No power points in easy to access places. Only a double in the kitchenette and one in the bathroom. None near beds or small table. These days with more electronic devices recharging facilities are essential. We now have phones, cameras, and laptops but the lack of power points makes this awkward. One thing the owners really can't have control over was the proliferation of smokers outside their rooms. There seemed to be far more here than at any other motel I've stayed at. They were there every time I went outside to go out and meant window could not be open for fresh air.

Great location. Close to victor harbour and port Elliot. Victor harbour itself had terrible parking during the day when we were there - so it was great being so close. Room was nice enough. Had a tv and the kids were able to log onto our Netflix account which was a win!

Look it is a little run down, but for a motor inn at a very reasonable price it was great. Bathroom was a bit pokey, but it was a very comfortable stay overall we were very happy.

2cnd time stayed good value for 💰an has microwave .beach straight across road. Nice Walkway to Beach ⛱ beautiful view an sheltered spots to sit an watch the ocean very relaxing 😌 😎 also a bitumenised bike track along the river on other side of highway .also cn some men enjoying there fishing on river side 😀

Maybe a bit dated the old woodgrain furniture but for the money not worried.

I found this motel great value for money. It was worn and showed its age in various ways but still provided us with a very comfortable stay. The microwave and crockery etc added to our stay. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for moving about. Although the bathroom was a little crammed, the shower was lovely and hot. I would stay here again

Bed was super comfortable Table, chairs, cutlery, tea/coffee and milk and biscuits were provided Staff were friendly

Shower height suits people around 175cm or shorter but I'd imagine a significantly taller person would have some trouble. Lighting was a bit dim but still fine with the bedside lamp on.

We were greeted with friendly staff on all occasions, including the cleaning staff. Although it is an old motel, we were very happy with the very good standard that the motel has been kept in. Being located on a busy thoroughfare, the traffic noise did not bother us too much. We shall indeed stay at this motel again when the opportunity arises. Our deepest thanks to the manager for the help provided during our stay.

The weather was not the best, very hot the day we arrived, and then it was very gusty the last 3 days of our stay. The water pressure was a little low, but didn't hinder our shower time that much, and the small step up from the bedroom carpet to the tiled kitchen floor needed to be noted.

Great location and usually clean retro vibe

It wasn’t at its usual standard. The three chairs in the room were all stained so we weren’t able to sit on them. The microwave had rust or some sort of markings, a cupboard door was off and lay on top of the cupboard. I know it’s a cheaper place to stay but these are things that have not happened when staying there in the past. To be honest it has put me off staying there again

For budget accomodation Wintersun was beyond my expectations. The room was dated as to be expected for the price but was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the amenities were great.

The shower head was a bit low for my height but that seems to be overly picky on my part when everything else matched or exceeded my expectations.

I could tell as soon as I walked into the room it was well cleaned and fresh. Excellent layout of room with good size counter top for coffee making, Hand luggage rack, extendable table for dining, and convenient for personal laptop computer work. everything seemed to be thought of

the property is old and much as I was very happy to stay there I imagine some people would not be so keen if their preference is new and modern.
