Friendly welcome to a lovely room with a view . Large comfy bed , quiet quality adjustable room air conditioning . Windows open for fresh air . Staff at reception and meals/bar to the manager all made our stay really enjoyable . Everything one needs is available in a large dining bar area with plenty of light windows overlooking the reserve and Granite Island. Tuesday steak special lunch deal was value and incredibly good Car parking a bonus at rear of hotel. Quick lift to upper floor . Suitcase rack provided Location second to none , walking paths the Island and causeway only a min’ away. Victor shopping street adjacent . Our visit was enhanced by very helpful obliging staff from beginning to end. Nice touches .

Needs provision of drawers /shelves as nowhere for clothes or personal items at all. Live out of your suitcase impracticable over more than a one night stay.

The Hotel Was Amazing And The Room Itself Amazed Me As Soon As I Walked Into It. It Brings Back Memories For Me Staying At Victor Harbour As I Haven't Been There Since I Was Little. Victor Harbour Was My Go To And Favourite Place As A Kid I Used To Stay There Alot With Family Especially My Late Grandfather.

I Stayed In Room 33 And The Lighting On Ceiling Above The Bed Wouldn't Turn On. My Partner Turned On The Switch And Only One Of The Bulbs Worked I Think The Others Have Blown Out. But That's OK I loved Everything Else In The Hotel. Was Excellent!

The rooms were very spacious, bright, and clean. The balcony was awesome to listen to the waves and allow fresh air in. The beds were amazingly comfortable. One of the best I have ever slept in! My partner and I had an awesome few nights sleep! Toiletries kit was a nice little extra, especially when I was desperate for a nail file late at night! Excellent location, short walk to most shops, the cockle train, and the horse-drawn tramway. Very nice meals and coffee. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Gabby 😊 Thanks for the laughs, Gabby! Hope to see you next time we come for a visit!

The toilet/shower was very cramped and lacked some sort of shelving to be able to put clothes on. It also would've been nice to have had a microwave to be able to reheat the meals that we had as takeaways.

Location was central and ideal. The room was good however its balcony was overlocking hotels massive flat roof full of air conditioners and exhaust fans for kitchen so very noisy. Even so at night you could still hear units working with doors closed.

The Studio King rooms face away from the road and ours had a balcony. Don't expect any view though but at least we could open the doors for fresh air.

Bathroom and toilet. Having no bathroom door, using the bathroom at night ensured you would light up the whole sleeping area disturbing any other person still sleeping. As the toilet has a door the light for this is on the same switch as the bathroom light, the same problem.

Easy and helpful check-in procedure. Friendly and very accommodating staff. A trolley was available for use. Beds were super comfortable. Amenities for use were good quality. Excellent adjoining room availability for kids (bonus with occupancy rules that a family of five can stay without breaking the bank). Note very compact space for bathroom / toilet shower (almost like a train cabin) if that is a problem for you; was fine for us. Note basin area light will illuminate the room at night a bit (and fan auto turns on - might be an issue if frequent wake-ups with other occupants sleeping) because the only the toilet / shower can be closed off and basin area is outside of it.

Because it is only intended for hotel guests, I would suggest a boomgate on the carpark that can be opened using room keys only so that restaurant guests do not use the car park. Having said that, after the dinner rush, parking was available.

Great location in the beautiful town of Victor Harbor. Facilities were clean and the decor was modern and fresh. The restaurant and bar facilities have been recently renovated and are very modern. I particularly enjoyed my ‘sex on the beach’……from the great range of cocktails offered at the bar! We had breakfast included in our reservation and had a great choice of bacon and eggs, waffles, eggs Benedict, granola etc. The breakfasts were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. We will certainly stay again.

We didn’t have a pair of scissors to open the long life milk in the fridge to make our cup of tea….this is the only thing we could find fault with…and it’s no big deal! Would recommend milk cartons are switched to ones that can be torn open rather than the ones with straws attached when they need to be poured into teas and coffees.

Easy parking, room a decent size

The room was dirty The windows were filthy as were the sills (take off the fly screens and clean the actual windows) and there was a half dead plant in a brown plastic pot in the room on the floor - not sure what that was about It was expensive and the amenities were basic. - a coffee machine/slippers would help The plastic chairs in the room were uncomfortable While it was close to the sea with a view it immediately overlooked a car park and to the right a roof

Our room was in a very quite area of the hotel, The room was nice, the bathroom had plenty of hot water and the free bottled water was a nice touch.

Instructions on how to work the remote control on the T.V. we had to ask the staff who were more than happy to show us. One of the bedside lamps was faulty and the staff fixed it straight away.

The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to all eateries and tourist attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly and the meals were well presented and plentiful The bed was comfortable and the water pressure excellent, the complimentary water was a bonus Very quite room
