The host went out of their way, even late at night, to help us check in. They walked us through everything and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but this accommodation was incredible—it was truly baby-friendly! I was able to relax knowing there were no sharp edges, stairs, unsafe plugs, or décor to worry about. The braai was clean and ready to use, and the lights and aircon were on when we arrived, which made it such a relief to step into a cool, comfortable space after the scorching heat outside. On Saturday, they even cleaned the pool for us, and everything was just perfect. Thank you for giving a tired mom the perfect destination to unwind and truly relax! :)

Perfect, beautiful and quiet location. Staff super nice and helpful. The breakfast in the room was generous and delicious. Beautiful walks in the farm.

Furniture dark and old-fashioned.

Amazing working wine and fruit farm location out of the way but easily accessible. We have visited before but this time we stayed in Mosesberg Cottage which has been refurbished recently. Good well equipped kitchen. Lovely main living/bedroom area with comfortable king size bed, and bathroom/wc with huge shower. This cottage is stunningly located on a hill overlooking the farm. Small ideal plunge pool on the verandah and sun beds and comfortable chairs to sit watching the sun go down. Undercover braai and garden area at the back with ample seating. We ordered food baskets to be delivered to our cottage for each day. Breakfast, Lunch and Braai. So much delicious food! Braai wood is included. All of the staff were so lovely too. We didn't want to leave, and will definitely return.

We spent 7 nights in the beautiful Longland cottage. The view was amazing , so beautiful and very peaceful amongst the olive trees.and spaced far away from other guests. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the open fire at night on the colder evenings. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linens , fluffy towels and gowns. Loved the soaps and shower wash. The Wi-Fi worked well and nice to watch DSTV and Netflix. The kitchen was well equipped but a salad bowl would have been nice. We took our bikes and really enjoyed the cycle paths around the farm and up to the water falls. We had a perfect holiday unfortunately didn’t make use of our private pool as too cold. Thank you Elize and all the staff.

Die omgewing is regtig iets baie besonders. Die uitkom van die son oor die berg is baie mooi. Om n naweek weg te breek van die stad is hierdie die perfekte plek. Dit is n redelike end uit die dorp, vir as jy iets wil gaan doen in die dorp, veral vir jongmense wat wil in die dorp gaan kuier, maar soos ek gesê het: Die perfekte plek vir n wegbreek naweek of week in die natuur. Dit is regtig n puik plek.

Die enigste klagte wat ek het, was die kurktrekker wat nie nawense was. Het een in die dorp gaan koop. Dan vir die mense wat nie oor n naweek, die huise laat diens nie, voel ek moet daar meer lappies uitgesit word. Ek het jammerlappies laat kom uit die dorp. Die ander voorstel wat ek net wil lewer, dalk net een of twee klein tafeltjies om jou drankies op te plaas, by die braai area. Dis net n idee. Anders het ons regtig heerlike gekuier. Baie dankie vir alles.

We loved every moment of our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The scenery, looking over the vineyards and olive groves, is gorgeous. The peacefulness and tranquility of this beautiful farm is ideal for those who want to unwind and recharge. We were warmly greeted by Elize, who responded promptly to any queries we had. Our cottage was perfect for two couples with very comfy beds, towels, bathrobes and toiletries. The cottage was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Extra attention to detail, such as roses on our beds and flowers throughout were really special. The breakfast baskets were generous and included delicious treats (the freshly baked farm was a firm favorite). The farm is within easy distance of the Robertson wine route, which was a lovely experience on our day out. We will most certainly be back!

We cannot find fault with anything at Orange Grove Farm.

We loved the privacy of the chalets , the peaceful and quiet environment.

We wish that the pool could be solar heated.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views of the Robertson valley. The unit's indoor fireplace along with the two air conditioners make it perfectly comfortable during cold, winter evenings. Good kitchen facilities. Nice outdoor braai. Beautiful pool - wish we could use it, but it was too cold. Could consider heating options in future to use the pool during winter months.

The road leading to Orange Grove requires attention to make driving with non-4x4 cars to the cottages easier. Apart from that, nothing else. Great overall!

Everything! The cottage is stunning , a perfect little get away from busy touristy areas. We only stayed 1 night, to break up our long drive. The Braii and the Breakfast baskets are just amazing. Fresh bread and cones- can't be beaten! :) Staff is extremely friendly, and helpful- they even helped us to get some wine, as we didn't stop at a shop ( silly mistake). Nothing was too much trouble! Would 100% recommend if you're looking to chill and relax a bit.

We liked everything

The location was a wonderful surprise, tucked away deep into the valley and exceptionally beautiful. The cottages were all beautiful and extremely well equipped, thought was given to everything. We also enjoyed the close proximity to some amazing wine estates, restaurants and coffeehouses!

It was a particularly cold weekend, especially the evenings and the wood provided was not dry or sufficient to keep even one fire going, let alone the 3 provided and the heater although it was on the entire weekend could not heat up our bedroom. I would also like to recommend that you consider installing a hot tub with donkey boiler ( Kolkol ) I think they are called, this will make your facilities a year round venue!
